Posted: 30 Aug 2021 08:25 PM PDT We are trying to start up an all around cleaning service for our local city. We want to know which names sound more inviting. If you were to see these on social media or a car, which would you be more intrigued by. Envision Cleaning, Imperium Cleaning, Superior Cleaning, Oracle Cleaning, Cleaning Genie [link] [comments] |

Posted: 30 Aug 2021 08:51 PM PDT I'm a photographer trying to build up a name for myself and I can't think of a name for my business. I currently operate under my Facebook business page name of TAGPhotos. Which is just the initials of my name. I've been using this as my business name for a while but it doesn't really sound that right to me. If anyone has any suggestions I would much appreciate it. [link] [comments] |

How do I approach a new, local business regarding opportunities? Posted: 30 Aug 2021 05:59 PM PDT Hey everyone! Recently, a new sneaker resell store opened up near me. I have wanted to get behind the scenes of similar stores since I got into sneakers and clothing, and would like the opportunity to help out around the store and maybe with marketing or social media in some way. I am currently a college student at our local school, majoring in marketing, and believe the experience at this store can help me understand what actually happens business-wise. How can I approach the owners regarding possible opportunities to help? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Aug 2021 03:15 PM PDT I have come across a Podcaster who is pushing a product heavily on his channel across multiple platforms. He disclosed that this is a paid advertisement, but I have become aware that he has recently acquired a significant financial interest (around 20%) in said company, and he is on the board as an NED (non exec director). I've tried looking into the legalities of this and am getting myself lost. He is worth 10's of millions from his own startup (now sold), and the company is pretty big for a private company. Honestly I doubt it is illegal as I'm sure neither party would be that stupid, however it does feel unjust to be sold a product by a podcaster you trust, to then find out he's getting a share of the profits. I'd expect him to receive a fee rather than a share. Is this normal? Am I getting annoyed about nothing? The podcast is a normal podcast, with what appears to be a standard paid advertisement for the aforementioned product during the course of each episode. (Apologies if this isn't the right place to post, I'm kinda new to this whole Reddit thing so let me know if I need to delete or move or whatever) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Aug 2021 01:46 PM PDT I'm going to dinner eith my boss to talk about taking over his moving company where I've been his main guy for about 2 years; it's a young, small company with 3 trucks and about 6 employees, just looking for tips on tactics and ideas about how to approach this transition. Best business majors for someone with tendinitis? Posted: 30 Aug 2021 12:14 PM PDT I've realized the major I had in mind might be too hard on my wrists which are already in pain from 4 hours of clicking and typing. If you have multiple ideas please mention them. I'm least interested in marketing but I'm worried that might be the best option for my wrists and thanks. [link] [comments] |

In need of online business ideas Posted: 30 Aug 2021 08:44 AM PDT Read if you have time if not long story short I need ideas for an online business or recommendations on free no gimmick dropshipping youtube channels or courses of something to make money online $400+ a week. I'm 15 I just quit my job because I was denied a very reasonable raise I was doing landscaping I had 2500 when I quit but I live with my brother and I help pay some of the bills and also buy my own food plus our refrigerator broke so I've been having to eat at Dairy Queen so after a month I don't got but 1000 left give or a take a couple hundred I'm supposed to have a 400 check finally being given to me for my last half week that I worked but I'm going broke fast and yes I could go broke and be fine I have my family as a lifeline I don't have to work but while I have this little money left I need to start a business with it. It needs to be online being that I don't have a car, I wanted to do doordash on foot in my brother's name being that I live a short bus ride away from Nashville but he's got a bench warrant and the background check is not gonna work. My parents didn't give me a ssn when I was born they had good intentions behind the reason but now they're split up and my mom is the one on my birth certificate she's in some other state and ain't gonna get me one so everything would be through my brothers name online I trust him enough [link] [comments] |
Business Education Suggestions Posted: 30 Aug 2021 08:13 AM PDT Good morning all, If this isn't the proper subreddit please let me know, but I'm a computer science major that switched over from business, but I'm still wanting to "round myself out" by continuing studies in Business. Preferably with a token of completion at the end such as certification (but not at a business school price). Does anyone have suggestions on this matter? Currently I'm reviewing courses on Udemy, Coursera, and LinkedIn, but if anyone knows of any other resources, it would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |

3rd Party Fulfillment for subscription box business? Posted: 30 Aug 2021 05:04 AM PDT Hey all! We are in the process of buying a subscription business. The business is currently located in the US, but we are in Canada. 80% of customers are US based. We are looking to grow globally, including Latin America. We would like to deal with one fulfillment partner., Does anyone have experience with a fulfillment partner that ships globally? Alternatively, are we best to manage it ourselves? Shipping from Canada is very expensive (sigh...) Would love any and all advice you folks have as this is a new business for us. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Aug 2021 03:26 AM PDT I'm trying to remember a word which means when a corporate giant makes a service affordable and convenient for their own profit.. for example, canva making graphic design super affordable and easy, rather than hiring a graphic designer, or netflix making it super easy to consume content, rather than just buying individual titles and wasting a lot of money. like a process where the business mass manufactures something which only used to be done on order before.
