Tips for applying at the right places? Posted: 03 Jul 2021 02:08 PM PDT I've been in B2C for too long, my current job is remote but the pay is absolutely horrible and I only took it because I needed a full time gig. I've been in consumer electronics being a brand advocate to of course increase sales and trained in store associates. I won't lie, I'm at a point where I think sales isn't for me, but the time I've absolutely loved it and never felt like I was the "pushy car sales guy" was when I loved and believed in the product I was selling. I have been job hunting on indeed and linked in but have been put off by a lot of job posts that seem to good to be true, and are very vague about their what they do or what you're selling. Anyways, do you all have any recommendations on where I should even try applying to? I'd appreciate it! [link] [comments] |
Best Twitter Accounts to follow for SDR/BDR Career Development? Posted: 03 Jul 2021 11:11 PM PDT I currently work as an SDR selling memberships and feel it's time to advance my career with B2B roll. I've landed a couple interviews but still feel like I'm lacking experience. I was hoping to find someone on Twitter (or any social media platform) that posts tips on how to improve your skills and have a successful sales career. Does anyone know of people or accounts to follow that focus on career development in sales? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Jul 2021 03:31 AM PDT Is this really how it be in SaaS? Here's some guys LinkedIn I saw… so I just gotta be an Associate Account Executive, and do the same thing that random phone spammers trying to sell you solar panels do, for about 5 months, then AE for 5 months, then Senior AE for 5 months, then Senior AE II for a year, become a Strategic Account Executive, switch companies, now I'm a "Commercial Account Executive" So now what, you're making $130K after three years experience. And this doesn't even require a degree. [link] [comments] |
