Posted: 08 May 2021 12:33 AM PDT Peleton needs to fire their CEO and hire whoever works at IHop that decided to have all-you-can-eat milkshakes on Monday. Recap, Peleton made embarrassingly simple mistakes and IHOP capitalized on something random that had nothing to do with poor desicions. Emotional Intelligence is surging to dominate a more reactive market, hire it, promote it, profit off it! [link] [comments] |
If you had an online business right now in 2021, what would you be selling? Why? Posted: 07 May 2021 10:52 PM PDT I don't think I am, but I hope I'm not breaking any rules here. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 07 May 2021 06:21 PM PDT I'm a furloughed flight attendant. Obviously I love to travel, and as travel starts ramping up, I'd love to start my own travel agency as a side gig. Can anybody give me pointers on where to start? [link] [comments] |
Best books to better understand marketplaces? Posted: 07 May 2021 09:36 AM PDT What are some great books you've read that have given you excellent, clear understanding of marketplace dynamics? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 May 2021 01:59 PM PDT Hi, I'm a new physiotherapy graduate in Toronto, Canada who will be working solo (not in an established clinic with front desk admin). I was wondering if anyone had advice about phones. Ideally, I want to have a business phone line in case patients call me to inquire/book appointments that is separate from my personal phone number. Are there any alternatives to carrying two phones under two different phone plans? Hope my question makes sense. Thank you! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 07 May 2021 02:36 PM PDT I know this is probably not the typical post but we have a school project to come up with a business idea. I talked to some people who want to start a Green Energy railroad Company or hydrogen cars etc. At first I also wanted to go into STEM but during the pandemic I found a more pressing issue: food and horrible delivery service. I thought of starting a chain of ghost kitchens with a delivery service. We would take fees for the kitchen and the delivery from the restaurants. It's way more fleshed out than this but this is the gist of it. My question: Is this actually a business idea or just a regurgitation of something already existing? (My thought was that some of the most brilliant business ideas are based on- or combinations of already existing concepts.) [link] [comments] |

Does mindset affect your business results? Posted: 07 May 2021 09:59 AM PDT Hi, I see a lot of entrepreneurs in this group on different levels in their journeys and I love that :) I am wondering about times when things were tough for you when it comes to mindset around making money or transitioning from 9-5 to the business world. Have you ever experienced inconsistency around what you say you are going to do, and what you actually are doing? Has it ever affected your results in business or life in general? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 May 2021 05:14 PM PDT A company ask for bank account information when they intend to send a check ? Company I work for is involved in a settlement, in all applicable documentation it states we are to be paid in two payments by check However they are requesting bank account number, why if they are issuing check? Posted: 07 May 2021 12:04 PM PDT Hey I am a student and after all my expenses, turns out I have 1000$ left. Is there anything I can do with it to somehow "invest" it in something so that it gives me more return sometime in the future? [link] [comments] |
