Searching for a scanner with Excel support Posted: 01 Jan 2021 04:36 AM PST Hello there, I am currently searching for a specific stock scanner and hope that someone of you can help me. I need a scanner where I can download the result data in Excel format. Also I need a specific kind of data. I need the values of the 1 minute candles since the market open. So lets say I scan 5 minutes after the market open then I need to know what values (open, high, low, close) these 5 candles have. 5 minutes after the open I basically need the data of the price changes that occured at 09:31, 09:32, 09:33, 09:34 and 09:35. I need this kind of data because I have to run some calulations on it. In a normal scanner I only see how much the stock has changed since the open but now how the change of the candles where. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. Does someone know such an product? Thank you so much! I wish you a good new year! [link] [comments] |
At what point do you consider yourself successful Posted: 01 Jan 2021 01:23 PM PST I've been trading for a few years now. I went from day trading to swing trading. Over the past month I've been able to make consistent profit off of my trades. This is most likely a luck streak or whatever, but it had me thinking. At what point should a trader consider himself a profitable trader? A year of consistent profits? A few months? Never? [link] [comments] |
When to cash out from this craziness? Posted: 01 Jan 2021 10:53 AM PST Firstly I'm a newbie in stock. If I sound dumb, feel free to be comment. A friend mentioned to me today that the reason the stock market is so high right now is because a ton of people redirect their money to the stock market instead of something else that they would have invested in if there wasn't a pandemic going on. So the crash may come when the situation with covid improves and people start to pull their money out. I have several investments right now. I'm probably going to cash out soon but I'll keep united, tesla, and apple. Thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Jan 2021 07:30 PM PST Currently with TD but limited with the number of stocks to short. Looking to switch to Tradezero as they claim to be the broker for short sellers. Any Tradezero users care to share their experience? [link] [comments] |

Market Funds vs Sector Fund ETFs Posted: 01 Jan 2021 07:14 PM PST |
Posted: 01 Jan 2021 05:46 PM PST I am soon turning 18 and I am looking for a way to invest. I only have about 200 USD (but hey still better than none). I really don't know how to start investing. I tried looking at sites, but most of them said that I need a social security number which I don't have because I live in Central Europe. I don't really understand finance yet but I am actively working on it. As of now I'm not thinking that trading stocks would be my full time job as I will be applying for med school. Could etoro be my go-to stock exchange website? I'm seeking guidance for that initial push to get me going. [link] [comments] |
Want to make stock information more attainable and easy for the ordinary investors to digest. Posted: 01 Jan 2021 03:56 PM PST Hey guys hope this content fits this here, but I really felt that there was a lot of good content around bigger companies like Tesla with a bunch of great youtube videos, especially after the crazy raid of 2020. But when I was try to read up on smaller companies there wasnt really the same supply of content out there so I started my own youtube channel and actually booked a studio and team:ed up with a few skilled friends (One skilled in video editing etc and the other one is an actor) so we made it happen. Please feel free to give me any feedback you may have on our first video: Highly appropriate any feedback, really want this and the coming videos as good as possible. [link] [comments] |
Companies that manage small funds Posted: 01 Jan 2021 01:48 PM PST Professionals that manage funds and are certified in this field and only do that, certainly they will invest my savings much better than me or reduce the risks at a certain level that I could imagine. I want to evaluate some of these services for small funds. What companies would you suggest to take a look at? [link] [comments] |
Why did stock markets did so well under Trump? Posted: 01 Jan 2021 04:14 PM PST Let's leave political BS on one side. I am interested in knowing the economic or hype or whatever side of the story - Why did stock markets did so well under Trump in past 4 years? I watched market drop like a dead dodo when it was announced that he seemed to have defeated Hillary and then just like that, within minutes markets not only recovered but started gaining. The momentum never stopped, not even after several months. usually, markets always have few 10% corrections in a year, 20% or more once or twice in 2 years. But the past 4 years were up and up. So what was it? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 01 Jan 2021 06:14 AM PST So its once agan about Palantir. I know i know yall eyes probably bleedin from reading this for the 1000 time but listen. It isnt really about me rn. I bought this shit as a wsb autist. My momma just told me she saw something about pltr onnthe news and is thinking ablut investing. I hold her i belive in it, but i would like some opinions of non wsb kids, so here I am. Can I give her the green light without worrying too much or should i declare it as a very risky investement? I'm chilling on 30k worth of shares at 24$ cost average. I'm not even worried for the long run. I as an 18 year old dont want to be to be blamed when my momma looses 6 figures tho. 😂 So what are your opinions, where do u see it going? And should she pull the trigger on 23$? ( I told her to mabye do 50% now and 50% afger lockup has expired. ) [link] [comments] |
