Is it too late to press charges of identity theft on ex wife?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 01:38 AM PST

My ex wife took out 7 different credit cards in my name and maxed them out during the end of my marriage. I wasn't aware of it until we had separated, they're for stores like ulta beauty, torrid, sephora etc.. She didn't pay them and they are now reported on my credit report and it has demolished my credit.
I tried to be peaceful about it and not press charges.

We went through divorce and she claimed them as her debt she owes but the judge gave her 10 years to pay them off.

They're greatly affecting my life, more so than I thought they would. I currently reside in WV, and I did a Google search and wv has no statute of limitations concerning a felony identity theft charge. I'm considering pressing charges so I can have the debt removed, she refuses to pay any on them and I cant refinance the car, get a mortgage or an apartment because of them.

Since they're listed in the divorce decree as her property and we've already went through divorce, can I still press charges for her doing this?

Also to add, they are 3 years old.

[Nebraska] Is there anything I can do to keep my stepson's mom and stepdad from coming to my house unannounced?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 06:01 AM PST

Some background: My stepson lives with my husband and me half the time and his school is based on our address. My stepson's mother is extremely high conflict and to be honest, I'm a little scared of her and her husband. She openly admits to watching my every move and sincerely believes that I'm obsessed with her and want to be her. I have texts from her saying that I have been obsessed with her since before my husband and I got together, and that the guys I dated before were just an attempt to get close to her (she claims she knows both of my exes but they both confirmed, after she contacted them both on Facebook, that she does not). She truly, sincerely believes that we only adopted a dog because she has a dog. She's that level of crazy.

Anyway, a little over a year ago, I got really shaken up when her husband decided to drop by our house before we were even out of bed. He contacted my stepson (who's now 10, btw) directly to come open the door for him. My husband contacted his ex, told her that's inappropriate and the adults need to be made aware of any unscheduled visits, and after arguing a bit, she agreed.

Well, it happened again this morning. And this time, my husband had asked her in a text just last night if she or her husband were planning on stopping by after a comment made by my stepson. She said no, and then her husband came here anyway.

I feel scared and violated. There were no direct threats, but when someone says they aren't coming to your home and then they do anyway, it feels threatening. I would love to move and not tell them our address but the current CO requires us to provide it. Is there anything I can do legally to ensure they don't come to my home or on my property without permission? I already have a camera up that I got after the first incident but that obviously didn't stop them. Please help. :(

My dad committed suicide, I’m his eldest son but live 1000 miles away.

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 05:45 AM PST

My father lived in Kansas after he retired from the Army near the base he was stationed at. He was a government employee. My younger brother lives about 30 miles from him. He had a live-in girlfriend. My dad owned his home and had a fairly large estate: lots of possessions, life insurance, etc. We do not know if he had a legal will yet. All we have so far is his suicide note that designates my brother and I as his beneficiaries. I know that this will probably be a big shit show and require an attorney because of the live in girlfriend. Help, please.

Life Insurance sent check to wrong address and was cashed, company is being unhelpful

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 11:53 AM PST

(California) I received a check for life insurance in excess of $5,000. After being deposited, the check bounced as a returned item. I called the company and reported, to which they had no answer for why it was stopped (and still don't after subsequent calls). I was told another had been sent out, patiently waited, and after a few weeks, called again. I was told the check had been cashed....dug for answers for about five minutes with the rep before she let slip, "yes, it shows we sent it to 1234 2nd street, Oceanside"....I don't live in Oceanside. Don't know anyone that does. The $12 check I requested for the returned item fee from my bank made it just fine, why was this sent to an address two counties away? I was told photos of the check would be emailed to me so I could verify I didn't receive it.

I called again, and was told again, they don't have the photos from the bank, and IF they ever do get them, I would be the one responsible for contacting police and filing a report.

My question is, how is the burden of proof on me, when their system very clearly shows they sent the check to the wrong address? I would assume they should be investigating who stole THEIR money, while my new check would be in the mail.

    Do I have any recourse?

Employee hit me with truck while I was walking into work.

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 04:14 AM PST

Yesterday morning I got to work parked around 6:45 am. I got out and started walking across the parking lot towards work. I noticed a truck pull in the lot as I stated walking but didn't think anything of it. As I started walking I noticed the truck pull down my lane. Out of my peripheral vision I noticed the truck approaching my me very quickly. Last second I realized the truck was heading straight toward me and wasn't slowing down. At the very last second I tried to jump out of the way but I wasn't fast enough and the truck hit me in my shoulder area on the headlight/fender area. I didn't fall down but it pushed me and I struggled to stay on my feet but managed. The driver slammed his brakes and rolled down his window to apologize. I chewed him out.

Little side note: we have to park at a remote lot and shuttle/walk 1/2-3/4 mile to work. The lot isn't owned by my company but is leased/rented from the church who owns it. So who's taking the blame is still up in the air. HR said they don't know if it will be workman's comp, the dealerships insurance, or the drivers insurance who will be at fault and that I should be expecting phone calls from each while it gets sorted out.

I walked into work and told my supervisor what had a happened. By this point the pain started setting in and I wasn't able to use my left arm. I'm an auto technician so I really need both arms to perform my job. The driver did come up to me around 9 and apologize and say he looked out his window for a min and didn't see me and thought he just hit my backpack but that wasn't the case. By 10 am the pain was too much so I requested to go see a doctor. They sent me to an urgent care and they the doctor did a few basic movement tests and I showed him that I couldn't lift my arm without having severe shoulder pain. They sent me for an mri and sent the results to the same doctor. He called me 5 min later and said he didn't see any tears but saw swelling (edema) in my shoulder. He gave me some muscle relaxers and ib profren and a sling and sent me back to work. I went HR and gave them all the paper work they gave with my restriction of using the sling and no using my left arm for work. Then HR sent me back to work. I got back to the shop and said I was in a lot of pain and wanted to go home and ice my shoulder and rest. They reluctantly agreed and I went home. I took the muscle relaxer when I got home and fell asleep. I woke up continuously throughout the night every time I moved with a lot of pain.

This morning I have a lot more pain then yesterday. Cant really move my arm at all. They want me to go in to work but I'm calling in so I can stay home and rest and ice my shoulder.

I guess my question is- is there anything I need to be doing to make sure I'm covered? I assumed they're pressuring my to work so that they can say it wasn't bad and I never missed work to cover their asses. I've never had anything like this happen before and I feel like I'm being treated as the assailant vs. the victim.

Any advice on any steps I should be taking would be greatly appreciated.

    Live in CO

Edit: there were no witnesses. Only me and the driver who wasn't paying attention.

Fired for going to the bathroom in Florida. OSHA won't answer the phone, local attorneys won't touch my case. What do I do?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 01:13 PM PST

I had a manager repeatedly order me to falsify my time card, and in response to the last refusal they hand-held me for the rest of my shift including following me to another worksite while tailgating me, 'accidentally' bumping into me while I was opening a door (so that they could go through first), and lastly blowing their lid and telling me I couldn't go to the bathroom. I had been holding it for about four hours at that point, so I told them I couldn't hold it any more and closed the stall door to do my business.

The manager plainly stated that I would pay for that, and pay I did - they immediately started the process to fire me for an incident that happened on a previous shift.

It wasn't until this post that I found out this is a complaint I can make to OSHA. According to their website, they investigate violations of statutes that range between 30 and 180 days since the incident, to include retaliatory termination. Unfortunately the incident happened in November of 2018, the suspension started in April 2019, and I was terminated before mid-June.

After weeks of trying to find an attorney who would represent me, I did meet with one in May who offered to edit a written statement to my employer detailing the above.

What should I do? So far the local OSHA office won't answer the phone.

Trying to serve someone small claims paperwork via constable but they will not answer their door...

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 09:39 AM PST

Hi, here's the short story...I'm trying to sue my old landlord for theft of my security deposit and multiple other things. I've spent $200+ in court filings to sue her and there's only 2 ways to serve, constable or certified mail. So I paid for the constable to go serve. They tried 3 times and she won't open her door.

She has a lawyer from other lawsuits I've become aware of so I'm sure she's been told to just not answer.

Any creative ideas to serve someone under these circumstances? Thanks! I'm in Pennsylvania btw...

Can I (29M) get a change in a custody agreement?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 07:55 AM PST

My ex (27F) and I have a son, he's 7. We live in California. When we divorced, we signed an agreement that we would share custody, on the basis that we wanted him to be able to have the freedom to choose where he spent his time.

As time has gone on, he's been almost entirely with me. In the past year, he has spent 6 nights at her house. The year before was 4 nights. I've brought up this disparity and suggested she might provide financial support, but she has disagreed, saying that this is his choice so there's no reason she would pay anything.

I'm feeling pretty put upon to be the almost sole caregiver, receive no financial support, and still have to get his mom's permission for medical, educational, and financial decisions. Is there a path that I can take which would help balance the situation?

A coworker fell while on the way to lunch with the CEO, then the CEO filed a suit against the company in charge of the sidewalk without the employee’s consent. He is now telling the employee that she needs to pay the legal fees out of her own pocket.

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 12:29 PM PST

Yesterday a coworker was going to lunch with the CEO of my company. They were walking on the sidewalk outside of a Goodwill donation center, so they had to step off the sidewalk to walk around the donations. My coworker stepped off in a weird way and broke her foot. The company took her to a doctor and paid for her visit. Meanwhile, the CEO and HR filed a lawsuit against Goodwill without the employee's knowledge while she was at the doctor. They are now saying that the employee has to pay the legal fees out of her own pocket. They also didn't file the case with Workman's Comp. Another coworker and I think the CEO is trying to file the lawsuit so that he can make money off of her injury.

Questions: Is it legal for the company to make a lawsuit without the employee's consent, then force them to pay the legal fees? Is it legal to file the suit without letting the employee know of their options with Workman's Comp? If the lawsuit continues and our company wins, would the CEO or company make money from it?

I'm really disgusted about the whole situation and I want to know the legal side of things before deciding how I'm going to respond (quitting, reporting the company, etc.)

Edit: If it matters, I just found out they filed a suit but it's not a lawsuit yet. They also filed under the company's name, not the employee's name.

Money stolen from UTMA, now IRS is seeking ~5k in taxes. How to find an affordable attorney?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 12:21 PM PST

My partner's(23) estranged grandfather closed her UTMA account and now the IRS issued a CP3219A seeking for us to either petition the US Tax court by March, or pay up in the amount of about $5,000.

If her grandfather doesn't disburse funds soon we're going to seek a lawyer. Is her local bar association her best bet she makes about $40k a year and is a self supporting college student, we're concerned about costs prohibiting a fair resolution of this situation since the grandfather is a wealthy man with lawyers.

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 02:01 PM PST

I am not really sure where to post this. I live in colorado. Twice during this past year my home has been raided by local police. The first time, someone reported that we have a meth lab and one of the tenants boyfriend was a fugitive (which we didn't even know about). On both occasions, they found nothing, nothing at all.

The second time, they brought in tanks and seized our electronics, without showing us the warrant first. Busted our windows and came in assault gear. And they still found nothing. Nothing, except marijuana but that' legal. We were charged with nothing. THey also took all our rent money and jewelry, anything of value. Which they have yet to return. I know a lot of people will say, oh you must have been doing something: but for them to come into our home twice and find nothing both times, speaks volumes. We are afraid it's going to happen again, though it shouldn't.

is there anything we can do? or do we just live in fear?

    Are there laws against this?

How do I get out of an income share agreement?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 04:45 AM PST

In August, a two member team representing an interview prep and support company approached me and promised to provide help to prepare for technical interviews.

They sent a mail stating that if I get a job that pays over 120K I pay 10% of my monthly pay for 18 months.

However I have realized that they haven't helped me at all. All they did was create a network of students preparing for interviews to help each other on slack.

I have not signed any document, I have however accepted to the terms over mail. It also mentioned that in case I break the agreement, I'm still liable to pay in case i get a job up to 1 year after the date of breaking.

But I feel cheated because they haven't helped me personally at all and haven't bothered to follow up with my job search in 2 months.

What is the best way to get out of this agreement?

[Louisiana] My friend’s boss has a REPTILE ROOM at their office where he keeps snakes and big venomous lizards?!

    Posted: 06 Jan 2021 05:29 PM PST

Oh my god. So my friend just informed me that her rather eccentric boss decided to turn one room in their office building into a place to store "tons and tons" of snakes that he breeds. Along with other reptiles, including freaking GILA MONSTERS!!

I should reiterate that this business is not in any way shape or form relates to animals! Yes it is a 100% real legit business which she receives health insurance and stuff from.

She said that whoever they are renting the office space from is not aware of this, and the boss doesn't want the landlord to know.

Also, the boss's teenage daughter (who he randomly decided would now work for the company) apparently regularly goes and grabs snakes to bring into their main office space!! One time, a snake lunged at another coworker and another time, the daughter had to quickly answer a phone or something and threw the snake into my friend's lap to "hold it for her."

Yall WHAT! I told my friend she needs to report this to someone but she said she didn't know who, and to be honest I have no clue either. This situation is just bizarre and honestly a disaster waiting to happen. Like, this can't be legal, right?

I tagged this as employment law because I truly don't even know what else it could be

    Apartment-Pet Complications

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 02:32 PM PST

When I applied to my current apartment, I stated that I had 2 pets and had all of their paperwork ready. This was no problem because the apartment has a two pet limit as long as you declare them beforehand. When I went to get the keys to my apartment and I mentioned my cats to the man at the fromt office. He said that they hadn't looked at that and that he forgot. I gave him the information for the cats but he said that because he hadn't checked he was just going to charge us the one-time pet fee for one of the cats and the other one would be our secret. I told him that I had the information and it was fine but he insisted. 8 months later, maintenance comes into the apartment for a work order and sees the other cat and I get a call saying that they'll be charging me another pet fee as well as a pet rent each month. Is there any way to contest this due to the front desk knowing in the first place that we had two pets? I live in Tennessee if that means anything.

[TX] - My 13 yo has been asked to pay for his vandalism

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 11:24 AM PST

First and foremost, my son has admitted to breaking into an vacant house with his friends and vandalizing the house. This includes breaking windows, pouring paint on the floor, ceiling, stove, graffiti on the wall, and leaving doors open that allowed animals inside. We have been very grateful that the owner has only created a report with the police and has not passed on my son's name to them.

We certainly want to make things right, even to the point that the boys involved assisted with the cleanup, but I'm concerned that the amount of repairs that they are asking for goes beyond what's reasonable. The house is older, carpet was worn, and there are reported damages that my son says wasn't him. I can no longer trust his word, but he has been very forthcoming about the other damages.

Additionally, they are asking that I pay for more of the damages as they have witnesses that say my son did more of the damage, but they are not willing to name who is making that accusation. The total amount of damages is approximately $4000 and we have been asked to pay 75% of that.

Is it unreasonable to ask for an itemized list of repairs and expected costs? Should the costs be equivalent to a complete replacement or the cost minus usage (aged carpet vs. new carpet?)

I don't have the funds for the full amount they're asking for and the other parent involved is a single mom with a limited income.

    Employer Blacklisting

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 01:32 PM PST

Hi everyone, thank you in advance for your help. I am a registered nurse in Florida who is looking to take a travel assignment out of state to help with the COVID-19 pandemic. My supervisor told me that the hospital system I work for is blacklisting all employees who leave to take a travel assignment. This area is my home, my fiancé owns a business here, and my family is here, so moving away isn't an option. The health organization has a monopoly in a 50 mile radius.

I really want to travel, but I feel like my arm is being twisted to work for this organization. Is this legal? It feels a lot like retaliation.

    Non-Compete Agreement

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 01:09 PM PST

I'm thinking about accepting a job at a local mental health practice. They want me to sign a non compete agreement that lasts for a year. It basically encompasses the entire area within 2-3 hours of where I live in addition to 10mi of any other practice. What should I do? I want the job but I'm hesitant. I'm the only earner in my family. The job would be an operations manager and biller. I'm in Illinois.

Sister Appears to Have Used Mom's Debit Card for Cash Back

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 10:11 AM PST

(CT) My 65 year old sister moved in with my mom over 20 years ago because she could not independently live on her own because of her inability to live within her means. My mother's financial advisor suggested that instead of continually bailing out my sister, my sister should move in with my mother and share expenses. I would ask my mother from time to time if my sister was paying for half of the utilities and other expenses and was told that she hadn't, even though she had a job. My mom never worked a day in her life, so she never had a clue as to what it takes to earn a dollar, let alone a living. Mom's parents left 2 trusts that she got monthly income from.

Every couple of years, my mom and sister would come to me be because the trusts were losing value since Mom was taking additional money and it was eating into principal. I would tell them they needed to live within their means by using a budget. Several times I asked for bank statements and a list of there monthly expenses so I could try and determine what was going on. My mother would always send statements but my sister would refuse saying it was none of my GD business. It was usually the same old thing. Somewhere they were spending $2,000 per month that couldn't be accounted for.

About 10 years ago, my sister took over paying my mom's bills since online banking was available and my mom was computer illiterate. As expenses grew, my mom used her equity credit line on her condo to meet the monthly expenses. I'm assuming my sister would just transfer the money into the checking account to pay the bills.

6 years ago my mom had her 4th car accident in 4 years so we took her license away. My sister would have to drive my mom if she needed to go to doctor appointments or wherever. My sister gladly took over the chore of grocery shopping by using my mom's debit card.

Finally 2 years ago, they called me because the bank was calling on the $100K equity loan because they weren't making payments. They had to payoff the loan or the bank would foreclose on the condo. So they drained what was left in my mom's brokerage account and additionally cashed in an insurance policy that was to pay for my mom if she needed assisted living. My mom was now basically broke except for monthly social security from my Dad and her allowance from the parents trust. So broke, I recently learned that the Trusts were paying property taxes as well as sewer fees for her condo. Something they had not done prior to the loan being called.

Mom passed away last September and her Will states that my sister can live in the condo for 1 year after her death. She is supposed to pay utilities, etc. While going through bank statements from 2018, I started to see patterns in debit card charges. There were multiple charges to the same grocery store sometimes 3 and 4 times a day. One day there were 5 charges. I also saw that apparently the month that the loan got called because it was maxed out, there were $800 in bank fees for overdraft. Not overdrawn by $800, but $800 fees in that one month. Looking at 6 months of bank statements, they averaged $4,500 a month in debit transactions in addition to $2,000 of written checks. They Averaged $1,600 a month at the grocery store.

I believe I finally connected all of the dots.....

It appears that my sister, and I do believe unknown to my mom, was using her debit card and getting cash back. What she did with that money, I do not know for sure, but I believe she used it to buy scratch lottery tickets. She probably got cash back at other stores as well. Doing some math, I figure she easily stole well over $100K over the years, perhaps closer to $150K, not to mention her lack of contributing to the monthly expenses.

Unfortunately my mom is dead so I have no way to ask her if she knew about the cash back, but I expect she did not. In a list of expenses my mom had sent me, all expenses lined up except what she thought was spent on food. My mom listed $300 per month. That could be a bit low, but 2 people should not have been more that $500.

I am the executor to my mom's estate and once we sell the condo, she'll be getting half of the proceeds after all other expenses are paid. Condo is worth about $200K. I don't think I can get any financial settlement, but every $1 she stole from my mom, half was mine had the money been there after mom died. I beat myself up because I did not connect the dots while my mom was alive.

I would even entertain the possibility of going to some authorities to have her charged with Elder Financial Abuse. What authorities would I go to? If for nothing else to have her exposed for the crime she committed. Even though my mom has passed away, can my sister still be prosecuted for a crime of Financial Elder Abuse?

I think about other people doing the same thing to older people and thinking they will get away with it once the person is dead. If they could still be prosecuted, that might send a message that just because the victim is dead, you may not get away with it.

    This all transpired in Connecticut.

Do I have any legal recourse?

Brother passed, his car has no engine and the car loan company doesn't want it back.

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 07:56 AM PST

    Wisconsin

To start, I'm sorry for the title.. I had no idea how to phrase it.

My brother passed away about a week ago and he left his car in my mother's yard. The car's engine is completely wrecked, it needs a new one. The credit center that he got it from (located in Michigan, not sure if that matters) does not want it back because it doesn't run... Which doesn't make much sense to me because i figured they'd just auction it off and make something out of it but apparently not. On the phone they said that my mom can "do whatever she wants with it" but obviously won't give her the title unless she took iver payments.. Which noone will do, it's not worth it.

The loan has about 8k left on it, the interest rate is most likely very high. Since they aren't expecting anything for it (or at the most around $500 from junking it) is it possible for me to offer them like $3000 or something for it like try to deal with them so it doesn't get completely wasted? Its a fairly new van and I'd hate to see it get junked..

    Felony fraud warrant- Virginia

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 02:36 PM PST

My husband applied for a regular passport renewal on 9/12/2020 as his was due to expire in 2021. It's taken awhile to get a response but we chalked it up to COVID slowing everything down. Today, he received a letter from the Department of State saying they denied his passport pursuant to 22CFR 51.60(b)(9)- a warrant for felony fraud in Glen Allen, Virginia filed July 1 2020. We have not lived in Virginia for four years (August 2016) and he hasn't been in Virginia since November 2019 (a work trip).

The last name on the letter is spelled wrong and he's called the police department for the city of Glen Allen VA and the state sheriff's office (Virginia). They're giving him the run around. A friend's husband is a lawyer in Glen Allen and the advice he gave my husband was to come to Virginia and serve his warrant. The warrant is OCA 20211523.

To me it sounds like someone stole his identity and committed a crime. My husband is afraid if he serves his warrant or presents to any police department he will be arrested. He has not committed fraud, especially in Virginia.

He also received a speeding ticket in August 2020 and was not taken into custody- I would think a warrant would pop up when they ran his plates. He also received a license to carry a firearm in 2019 and purchased a gun in 2020, though prior to the warrant being filed.

He doesn't want to go to jail and lose his job. This is insane- does anyone have any insight into how we can get access to the details of the warrant and get him connected with someone who can rectify this? Do we need to hire a lawyer?

Healthcare worker needs advice on meds side effects and job performance.

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 02:30 PM PST

My sister works in a hospital pharmacy, in an office setting, in Oregon. She has serious health issues, including congestive heart failure. Her bosses know about that, but her problem is that the side effects of her medications sometimes cause her confusion, fatigue, and mild memory loss, which of course affects her job. When she's feeling fine, she's one of the best they have. Her question is, is she protected under the law on these side effects, and should she talk to her supervisor (who is not very supportive) about it? She has so far only revealed her physical issues, not the 'mental' issues.

Was served Caustic draft line cleaner

Legally where should I start if I was served Draft line cleaner and my mouth was chemically burned. I notified the bartender and called poison control. Poison Control told me to go to the ER.

What steps should I take legally?

[Pennsylvania] Partner potentially recorded moving a vehicle with derogatory things written on it

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 12:12 PM PST

This is an odd one, and I apologize as I'm delaying the information I have. I'm happy to add and elaborate as needed.

My partner works near the capital of Pennsylvania for an auto shop. He's an automotive technician.

They took in a truck that needed work done. This truck has political things about Joe Biden plastered all over it. The owner of the truck is pretty obviously not a fan of Biden's. Fine. They're just an auto shop. You need work, they do the work.

My partner was moving the truck from one part of the parking lot to another and a bit later the service writer got a call demanding the truck be removed, etc etc. Given the conversation with the service writer, my partner is fairly confident there could be a video of him floating around the internet of him in this truck.

What, if any, recourse does he have if there is in fact a video of him in this truck?

Edit: I have a copy of the video. They pretty clearly are referring to my partner, saying things like "That's little dick energy right there."

He's not looking for anything huge, he just wants the video down because it's a complete misrepresentation of him. Not sure if there's anything that can be done or not.

Is exposing someone's stalking actions on Social Media Platforms illegal?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2021 02:02 PM PST

This is a matter happening in British Columbia, Canada.

Hi. Firstly, I'd like to say that I would never get to this point to take this action if it weren't for his disgusting and disturbing actions. Recently, my girlfriend had started to try to get rid of some of her friends, some of them being still wanting to be her boyfriend. One of the friends had realised that she is ignoring him on WeChat (social media platform), and has started to show up at my girlfriend's house. We have pictures and videos of him appearing in my girlfriends front yard, trying to open the front door and backdoor, and screenshots of him calling my girlfriend multiple times a night (20+), posting false posts on WeChat claiming my girlfriend is his girlfriend, posting where my girlfriend works and taking pictures of where my girlfriend lives. I have already created a police report but we're worried that the police wouldn't do enough to stop him from harassing my girlfriend, so I would like to post his actions on 1.WeChat, 2.Vancouver Subreddit, 3.Instagram.

TL;DR: I would like to post the actions of a stalker that is stalking my girlfriend on social media platforms to let everybody be aware of this person. We have already filed a police report. The stalker is already 18 and turning 19 this March.

Here's some information that may be useful:

    1. The screenshots of all call logs and social media are from my girlfriend's phone and from their conversation through WeChat.
    2. There are posts that he has created claiming that my girlfriend is his girlfriend.
    3. He has used her photos without permission to create phone cases.
    4. Pictures of him giving unwanted gifts to my girlfriend. (These were posts made by himself)
    5. What I want to post includes a video was taken at my girlfriends front yard of him walking around and trying to get in. (The video does not show him trying to open the door. This is because my girlfriend's blinds are very transparent, and she does not want him to know that she is home.)

Any help/advice would make my day like what I can and cannot post. If there are any questions please feel free to ask me and I would be happy to answer. Thanks a lot.
