I need some advice from someone that is knowledgeable of the Casino and Cannabis industry in Las Vegas for an assignment in my Behavioral Economics class!

    Posted: 10 Jan 2021 12:40 AM PST

    Hi guys!

So I won't give too much detail just incase I one day decide to open a casino lol but basically my assignment was to start a business and I went with a Casino in Las Vegas since I'm from here. One of the things I want to do theoretically in this casino is to host the first cannabis lounge/bar and provide some kind of safe space for cannabis users in order to a avoid public intoxication charge since cannabis use in public is still illegal.

What is the reality of this happening? Despite the fact that this is only an assignment I want it to be realistic as well to get the most out of this assignment!

    Thank you!

multichannel marketing with a generic brand using linkets

    Posted: 09 Jan 2021 09:30 PM PST

Here is a different way of doing multichannel marketing, with generic brands. You are a startup or even an established firm. You have a website selling something. But you want more customers. One way is to have a link to your site, where the link is a generic label of your product. For example, if you sell flowers, a generic domain is flowers dot com.

Problem is that domain is owned by 1800 Flowers, who is doing just that! Too late for you.

Or you can get a linket [Flowers]. This is a clickable link. You point it to your site. [Flowers] can be much cheaper than getting flowers dot com. The latter would be many hundreds of thousands of US dollars. A linket is $US15.

I came up with a new idea for a board game. What is the least expensive way to make money off it?

    Posted: 09 Jan 2021 08:51 PM PST

I created a game sort of similar to Chinese checkers but significantly different. I want to sell the game somehow, but I don't know the cheapest way to sell it. Should I get a patent? Should I pay a developer to make it into an app? Should I do a Kickstarter? How would I do it while spending the least amount of money?

Master’s in Business Analytics (MSBA) or Master’s in Marketing Analytics (MSMA)?

    Posted: 09 Jan 2021 12:19 PM PST

I am currently a junior studying Information Science, aka Data Science and I am planning on going to grad school for a Business background.

I am deciding between MSBA and MSMA but would like some input. Which program would be more useful in the real business world in the future? My career goal after graduation is to work for a company for a few years in the analytics department and open up my own business after that. I feel like MSBA will help me in the long future when I have my own business but MSMA will help me in the short run because I'm interested in Marketing Analytics as of now.

Any suggestions on either MSBA or MSMA?

Has Tesla made a profit overall?

    Posted: 09 Jan 2021 01:11 PM PST

I saw that Tesla turned a small (relative to its revenues, costs, and market cap) profit over the last few quarters. But how much profit will Tesla have to make before it's really in the black, when you consider all the money that has gone into it in the form of investments from banks, share holders, and government credits over the past couple decades? And how does this compare to say, Amazon or Apple?

Advice needed - where to learn sales and marketing

    Posted: 09 Jan 2021 03:42 PM PST

I've been a professional musician, professor, author, and most recently an IT administrator for a university. The next step for my wealth journey is to learn how to sell the things I've created (a book and a music album). What are your recommendations for learning sales and marketing?
