Posted: 07 Jan 2021 06:07 PM PST I'm wanting to start an online e-commerce business. I was in the process of partnering with a distributor and a Multijurisdictional Uniform Sales and Use Tax Certificate is required. I found a site by the name of : It almost seems like I only have to fill out a reseller certificate for the state I'm in. Do I need to fill out one for all states I sell products too? Posted: 07 Jan 2021 09:29 PM PST No harm in discussing things, if you find its worth your money (I dont need your time but suggestion will always be welcomed ). If you like the idea, fine and if you do not , its totally fine. One day or the other , I am sure, I will reach where I want to because I have tested it for last 5 years. Its not a startup kind of thing but a regular business thing and the potential is unlimited. Well tested thing. Message me to hear the plan. You can say no, I am used to this. [link] [comments] |

Created an SEO company, started strong, but lost in how to grow and scale. Posted: 07 Jan 2021 12:44 PM PST Hey everyone, I'm looking for some business guidance/advice, especially from those with any SEO business experience. A bit of background, in May 2020, I started a small company focusing on SEO, based out of Canada. As I had no results to my name, I started doing work for basically nothing, just to get some reviews and results. I've been doing SEO for my own sites for 4 years now and seen solid results - which is why I made the jump and created this business. In the first 3-4 months, I worked with around 15 clients (mainly freelancing from Fiverr) and 5-6 of them turned into monthly clients. The last couple of months have been stagnated in closing new clients. I have much more confidence in myself and my results but haven't been able to close any new clients in about 6 weeks. I'm in the middle of setting my monthly packages I offer at a rate where I earn decent money. I've talked to a handful of business coaches that want to take my monthly income 20k+. I don't want to jump to that level without being comfortable in my ability to get there. I'm honestly not too sure what I'm after in posting this, but I'm feeling a bit lost in it all and feel like I'm shooting blindly at how to get new clients, sell the value of the services I offer and basically how to create more of a predictable income, month to month. I'm really struggling in understanding how to market myself to get the higher ticket clients ($750-1000/mo). I seem to attract those looking for "cheap SEO", and while I started out there, I want to look for those with bigger marketing budgets. Anyone have any guidance, advice, resources, etc that helped them understand and be confident in their next moves? I'm up for investing some money, for sure. Just kinda lost in where to go to get the advice that's going to help me grow steadily. Thanks for any advice/help! [link] [comments] |
CA LLC Strange Situation - How should I proceed? Posted: 07 Jan 2021 03:59 PM PST I formed an LLC on New Years using ZenBusiness. I used a virtual mailbox which I paid for, to protect my privacy. However, I learned I need to get a USPS form notarized to receive mail at the virtual mailbox address. That is a problem because my ID has a previous address, and I'm not able to go to the DMV right now due to health and safety concerns (pandemic is running wild in my county, we are on the strictest lockdowns and I take care of an elderly person). I contacted ZenBusiness as soon as I learned there would be an issue with me receiving mail at the address listed. This was less than an hour after submission. However, I didn't hear back from them for 3 days, because of the New Years holidays + their offices being closed on Saturdays. On Sunday they told me I had to wait until Monday, because my "case manager" wouldn't be in the office until Monday. They submitted everything before their customer support was able to get back to me. So, basically the LLC is formed. Tried my best to stop that. I know if I don't file the Statement of Information is not filed within 90 days, the LLC is suspended and there is a $250 penalty. I think I can also choose to just dissolve it. No business will be conducted with it, I just want to get rid of it honestly. Never got an EIN, never opened a business bank account, never made or spent a penny. Can someone provide me with some solid advice here? Honestly it's been a very stressful situation, this was my first time trying to form an LLC, just to do a little internet marketing with liability protections while finishing up my college degree. Posted: 07 Jan 2021 03:07 PM PST Hi everyone, Possibly a bit random but would any of you ever be willing to accept a crypto currency? Nano is an instant fee-less crypto currency that has seen a lot of positive price action lately. I know internet strangers promoting things isn't normally a good sign but please feel free to google it, check out the reddit and see it on coin market cap ( crypto currency valuation website). Now you may be wondering what the point of accepting crypto currency is, the reason Nano was designed was to be instant P2P digital cash. You can therefore set up a wallet free of charge and accept Nano completely free. I know that accepting cards normally carry fee's so you would obviously save them. It also allows you to accept an appreciating asset class without having to pay fee's for buying it. Now here is the bit where it gets interesting. Nano has many businesses accepting it already but use cases and adoption are what drives a coin from being irrelevant to becoming an actual currency. Theres an App available for smart phones called WeNano. This app allows users to place a geographical spot in which when other users of the app get close enough to the spot they can receive a Nano payout. As the community wants to see adoption I'm sure that a business accepting Nano could attract support from the community to fund a WeNano spot at your business and therefore anyone entering your business premises could claim free Nano to pay for your service. Not only would this mean your customers could potentially get your services free but you'd have a Nano community twitter & reddit rooting for your business' success. Ideally if you're interested your business would have a decent social media presence but it'd also have reasonably priced product or service that could help those in need (the community would rather help those in need than buy people extravagant things). If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask! [link] [comments] |
Looking to talk to SME Import/Exporters who trade in multiple currencies. Posted: 07 Jan 2021 03:04 PM PST I'm looking to do some customer development with some SME business owners / financial controllers who have foreign currency exposure in the $250K - 1mil range. We're looking at developing a tool for insights into foreign currency exposure, the impacts on cashflow and providing automated hedging solutions. Importers/exporters would be great, but really looking to talk to anyone who trades in multiple currencies. [link] [comments] |
