    [UK] How to ensure my agents don't steal leads from the business?

    Posted: 06 Jan 2021 10:55 PM PST

    I'm running a Real Estate agency and we have a lot of volume that we cover weekly (i.e. leads). Our business is connecting buyers with sellers and collect the fee for doing so. Now that we grow I wonder how to ensure my agents are not stealing good leads to themselves? (that would be taking a good lead, registering it with the seller and collecting the fee directly)

    Current ideas:

    • Send a list of my team to our biggest partners to notify that these people should have all deals registered under name of our company.
    • On a quarterly basis reconcile deal volume with biggest partners.

    How to I communicate major problems and solutions to higher-ups in a large company?

    Posted: 06 Jan 2021 06:30 PM PST

    I work for a large bank who, unfortunately, has created many of its own problems, but it blames it on customer service. As a lower-level employee, I have voiced my frustrations and solutions to a supervisor, however, they have said they have complained about the same issues for years. How do I communicate many of the easily fixed issues I see, without appearing like I am complaining about my company?

    There's no contact phone number, no email, no real person's name to help. Whenever you have an issue, they are the only judge, you don't have chance to argue at all.

    Business contact phone: hidden, top secret Business email, hidden, top secret

    Supporting person's full name: hidden, top secret;

    Technical support's supervisor: hidden, impossible to reach.

    What a rich company. Do you know another one?😪😪😪

    Buying into business

    Posted: 06 Jan 2021 03:05 PM PST

    Question:

    When buying into a small business (2.2m in revenue for 2020)

    If I paid X for 10% of business, does the money transfer go into the owners hands, or the business? This may need more info, and I'm unsure how the process works. We are to meet the business accountant next week to discuss the details and such. I want to know if this is how this transaction works.

    Does the money immediately go to the owner?
