ALL posts about GME, stocks, and questions WILL BE REMOVED Posted: 30 Jan 2021 07:52 AM PST There has recently been a large influx of posters, commenters, and new subscribers posting about what has been going on with r/wallstreetbets and other related stock news. Along with it, we have seen a large increase in rulebreaking content on the sub. This is a reminder that r/economics is not a place for stock news and that we encourage posters to direct those posts to r/business or r/investing. Outside of very niche cases that are well within the "on-topic criteria" we will be removing posts about the stock market to keep discussion high-quality and on topic. We will also be removing meme comments and other off-topic comment discussions as we see them in the threads that are approved. Continuous rule-breakers will be banned. If you have any questions about what is going on, please post those in the r/AskEconomics megathread on the topic [link] [comments] |
