Question for those around during the dot com bubble... Posted: 03 Jul 2020 07:06 AM PDT How different is the mentality of the people you see on r/wsb versus stock forums during the dot com bubble? The wsb gamblers seem aware they're gambling as opposed to thinking they've have acquired or could acquire a skill set to make them rich trading stocks. I contrast this to anecdotes I've read of people quitting their jobs to "learn day trading" during the dot com bubble. [link] [comments] |
