Need help on importing goods...first time Posted: 27 Jun 2020 08:52 PM PDT So I'm buying machinery from China and on the Bill of Lading there are Shipper, Consignee, and Notify Party. The Shipper is obviously the supplier from China. I'm hiring a shipping company to take the items from a "shared container" and have them send it to me. So who is the Consignee and Notify Party in this case? I read this on a site. " The difference between a shipper and a consignee is that the consignee is the receiver of the shipment and is usually the owner of the goods. This may be an individual or a company. Unless otherwise instructed, the party listed as the 'consignee' on the Bill of Lading is legally required to be physically present to collect the shipment. " I am the buyer and owner of the goods but I won't be physically present. Please help! Dont wanna make a mistake :| [link] [comments] |

Potential clients do not reply after filled my interest form Posted: 27 Jun 2020 04:49 PM PDT I am starting a tutor business. Recently 7 people filled in the interest form on my website. They are all teenagers. I replied each of them and ask them their current schools, GPA, etc. I did not mention any payment of my first email. 6 out of 7 did not reply. I knew that they read my email because I have an email tracker. What should I do? [link] [comments] |

What's the best freelance site to go with for logo design? Posted: 27 Jun 2020 10:34 AM PDT |
Posted: 27 Jun 2020 02:13 PM PDT Okay so, in my region (Central America) it's very common to run small local online stores. Most of them literally just exist as business instagram profiles with pictures of the products that are being sold. And people order via DM most of the time and product is sent via delivery. Thing is: some of them directly put their prices in the pictures of the product. Some don't. Those who don't, usually state that for more information, please DM them. Or people can post in the pictures: "Price?" And the person who runs the social media account will answer via DM. Which method is better? I know that the "not stating it" allows more direct interaction but what if by doing that, consumers don't even pay attention to the post. I've seen that those times that the prices aren't stated right away, the consumer loses interest because they don't want to take the time to ask. But also in these cases, the picture can also receive a lot of interaction and lot's of people actually comment or DM for more information. So I don't know if there is some kind of comparison between these two options? Which one do you think is better? [link] [comments] |
