Why is the NYSE hopeful? Investment Club

NY State is the 7th largest affected country in the world by Covid... Yes country. The USA has one of the highest death rates of first world countries, and is now the 3rd largest number of cases, with no slow in growth.

China is seeing the first uptick in cases today, after they started to lift lockdowns. Indicating that simple quarentine for a few weeks isn't enough.

What has anyone hopeful that we have accurately corrected the markets for the impact of this pandemic on the US economy?
