Is it worth it to go legal?

    Posted: 29 Jan 2020 09:49 PM PST

I have recently started a shirt-printing business that is not legal yet. So far I have two sides to my business. One side is a store where people can buy my clothing with my designs. The other side is that local organizations come to me to print their designs in bulk. I am considering going legal but I wan't to know how expensive it can be in terms of filing taxes and fees etc. Is it worth it to go legal? I don't do this business as a full time thing honestly more of a hobby.

    Hello

I am senior motion graphic designer myself and 3 years ago I stared creative company. We are 4+1 (intern) at the moment. We are getting more and more work/clients. I think that 2020 will be breaking point for us. As I am creative dude I am not so good at management and I don't love to work with people/clients directly. At the moment I do all managing and marketing work plus creative work from time to time.

My question is what is next step that I should take in my adventure. What to look for and how to handle.

Any advice would be helpful and appreciated.

    Thank you!

Did anyone Set up Labuan Limited company?

    Posted: 29 Jan 2020 04:59 PM PST

Labuan is a Malaysian Federal District that offers foreigner 100% owned company with a resident permit and I think a low corporate tax (3% I think) and you are allowed to have a so-called "Marketing Office" in KL which to my knowledge so far that you cannot do in Malaysia unless you have a Malaysian partner and corporate taxes is 25% or so.

Did anyone in this sub have any experience starting a Labuan Limited Company?
