Things seem to be going wrong for IEOs(Initial Exchange Offering), with 90% of them losing more than half of their lifetime value. This is a large collapse for something that was meant to change the face of the crypto space.

Anyone know of an anonymous payment company like stealthpay?

It would be much appreciated. I couldn't find anything via google. I would think that this sort of thing would be more popular but since crypto exists, maybe not.

    Coaching business research.

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 03:27 AM PST

Hello fellow entrepreneurs, I'm currently looking to start an online coaching business guiding busy professionals on building muscle and gaining weight. I'm still working on gathering information and experiences from peoples that have problem in this area before I create a program and offer.

So, for those who are struggling to gain quality weight and build muscle I have two very simple questions:

    - As someone who's working on building a business, what are the two biggest issue/challenges you are facing when it comes to gaining weight/building muscle?

    - How much effort have you tried to overcome this problem?

Please note that I'm still in the researching stage before I commit to this business. The more information (experience) I can get will allow me to help my future client more efficiently. Thank you.

job + investing or starting a business?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2020 01:25 AM PST

Hey all, I looked around reddit for the right place to post ask this and this was the only place I could find. I have been wondering if it would be more profitable in the long run to just get a job (I'm thinking of programming which pays over the average for most who work after around a decade) or start a business. Any idea on what business could compete with 80k yearly? I'm trying to find the best paying option that will still exist in fifty years time. thank you

Can someone verify this is Dee Hock's (Former CEO of VISA's) Twitter?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 10:55 PM PST

I came across this Twitter profile, but something is telling me this is not him. The dude was born in the late 1920's, so I doubt he still types like this.

Can someone verify if this is legit? The Twitter is unverified. But his blog posts are quite interesting, actually. Lol.

    GM Training

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 07:34 PM PST

I've been an Operations Manager at my company for almost 4 years now. We went from startup, to acquisition, to reshuffle but have come out of it a successful company. I've asked the President to consider myself for a GM position ever since the previous COO left a year ago. While tenured here I've taken on multiple departments due to my company being an engineering focused company and my background in business supply chain. I can confidently show that I've managed effectively HR, Ops, Purchasing, Facilities, etc but I've been asked by leadership to identify any training, certification, or additional skills I may need to accomplish this position if I should get it.

Any GMs out there that could advise on any training courses, certs and/or skills to learn? Already have my APICS: CPIM and CSCP certs.

    Thanks!

    Recommend a business basics book

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 10:07 AM PST

Please recommend a basic book on business or sales and marketing. Example if I just started my business It would help me if I knew that follow up is equally important to your initial marketing/sales call or email.

    Or the 20/80 rule.

Which book do you think would cover these fundamentals?

Pros/cons of working for huge company?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 11:54 AM PST

I currently work for a company with ~4,000 employees which is already large. We will be merging with another similarly sized company this year creating an even bigger organization. If I don't get laid off, curious what challenges/concerns there are to working for such a large company especially if I'm not located in the same city as corporate headquarters. Would appreciate any advice or experiences you could share.

    About safety match business

    Posted: 25 Jan 2020 07:47 AM PST

My father is running a safety match industry. Whether it is a good industry to take over and would it have a long run. It has almost 100k dollar investment in it and also not dead because of my father's hard work but he can't handle it single-handedly So he asks me to join the company. But I had a doubt whether it would have a long run or not. I wanted to be a programmer and start a business with it but because of too many software development companies, it would be hard in this era of internet boom to start a computer company.

I was fascinated when I came across a millionaire who made a safety match empire of $600M worth, until that I hadn't had a thought of thinking to join my father my motto is not money but getting self-employed.

In India, most people still use safety matches as their main source of lighting for cigarettes So it would run for a decade. But I am wondering whether countries outside India still use safety matches?
