The Importance Of Access Control At The Entrance Of A Sports Club Posted: 04 Dec 2019 11:32 PM PST 95% of higher education institutions and universities still rely on aging technologies such as magnetic stripe cards or simple proximity cards for access control. Problem: These old technologies expose to security vulnerabilities. More Info:- https://www.magnum.org.in/blog/importance-access-control-entrance-sports-club/ [link] [comments] |

Investing in Future Startup Entrepreneurs? Focus Instead on a Killer Marketing Plan Posted: 04 Dec 2019 11:01 PM PST These days, everyone is hoping to become an entrepreneur. Needless to say, you'll find many young entrepreneurs thriving with great ideas looking for ways to launch their first startup. You can't blame them. A stage where the product-market is yet to be found and testing is still unbridled, the journey is still a challenge. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Dec 2019 10:54 PM PST I want to pursue an undergraduate degree in a topic relating to business. Could anyone who has gone through the process speak to how important/useful their degree has been in their career, outside of just being hired? Also, if anyone has achieved an MBA, how difficult was it to obtain and how has it affected your career? Thanks. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 04 Dec 2019 07:55 PM PST Background (and can't get too much into details because nothing is official): A private equity company reached out to me about taking a leadership role at one of their portfolio companies. They've (parent company) has been super transparent about the whole situation--which I really appreciate--but they're perspective is obviously different than that of the portfolio company. I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced this jump and what was different "on the ground" so to speak, from what you were told during the hiring process. Any and all insights would be appreciated!! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 04 Dec 2019 07:44 PM PST So I'm thinking of maybe starting my own small handmade fine jewellery line. But need help with the name. What sounds better to you? TG would be both women (25+) and men (25+). Men for engagement rings and women for everything else. Primarily American and Canadian Demographic. (Even though we are Indian :) )
Need some help being a first time entrepreneur. I'm second guessing EVERYTHING! TIA [link] [comments] |
The beauty of rolling with the punches – Interview with Hilton Augustine Jr. Posted: 04 Dec 2019 07:39 PM PST "He explained that over the years, "…whatever the customer base was looking for, that's the skills I recruited and I went after that kind of business … the low hanging fruits…. We've done everything from the early days, web development, web design, network designs, network administration. We'd run call centers and network centers. Literally for different agencies in the government, we'd be the Help Desk you'd call to fix the [government] computers…. This business just became, 'I need income for my family.'" After a few years, Hilton started making acquisitions. "I literally started trying to start a company by buying other companies. Some worked, some didn't." One of the companies that "worked" was a network maintenance company. This acquisition, later turned into a GMSI subsidiary, was sold in 2011.
