Posted: 05 Aug 2019 02:08 PM PDT And to further that question as things progress, let's for the sake of conversation say these two "leaders" come to a deal... What? Is China just going to up and increase the value of their currency if things turn out peachy in the end? That'd be direct evidence that they are manipulating their currency, which is what we were accusing them of in the first place. Someone please explain how this whole thing goes back to being reminiscent of normal. What incentive does China have to end it's current new trade deals with other countries to start buying what I'd assume are more or less premium priced commodities. I have a lot to learn, obviously. | Posted: 05 Aug 2019 07:28 AM PDT Hi, I'm new to the stock market. I bought a bunch of stocks this spring, probably about $2,000 overall, and I'm in it for the mid- to long-term. I'm in a lower income bracket to that's a lot for me. I've got to say, I have the jitters today. I keep feeling like my individual stocks will never recover, like I bought at the wrong time, like I should sell ASAP to avoid losing more. But obviously, I know that you've got to buy low and sell high!! So, this is just a reminder to myself to hang in there and not sell anything when it's the worst time to sell.
