Posted: 06 Aug 2019 12:28 AM PDT How do restaurant owners do deductibles? I currently own 1 very successful location and so I am looking to open up a second one. My problem is, I can't always be at both locations, at the same time. And with my second location, I'll have to step down to more of a managerial position, rather than be so hands-on with the physical work since there'll be more behind the scenes work to do. My question is, how do I make sure all expenses that are deductible, are deducted? For example, all the major invoices (food, equipment) are collected by my managers and then to me, which is fine. But what about all the smaller, receipts? Such as the small ones that we incur sometimes regarding employees purchasing stationery and pens (sharpies are always going missing) using the company credit card? What if they don't bring the receipt to me? What do I do then? [link] [comments] |

How I sold my first $50K in course sales from just a free Facebook group :D Posted: 05 Aug 2019 11:17 PM PDT Yesterday was a mammoth milestone for me. I've struggled with health issues, mental blockers and lack of motivation for many years now. Yet, I was still determined to break through those barriers. I launched my first course just over three months ago and this is the current result of my efforts. I actually achieved the first $50K without running any ads either! This was all done organically with a Facebook group. How? I added value in other groups and engaged with anyone that responded to my posts. If it felt suitable, I would invite them to my Facebook group. Pinned to the top of that group was a case study video and sales video rolled into one. They were hot leads, they joined the group, they saw the video and they purchased my course.Pretty easy! Hands up who has a course? I'd love to hear how you have done in terms of marketing it. I've since beefed up my efforts with paid ads, but that first $50K milestone with just an organic group is something I'm proud of and would be happy to share any helpful tips to you guys. I've actually just put together an intimidate group where I'm sharing my best organic course launch tips, feel free to join right here [link] [comments] |
Has anyone here ever done a Leadership Development Program? How was the experience? Posted: 05 Aug 2019 06:25 PM PDT I was thinking about it after work at my internship today. A lot of the executives did these at their first jobs out of college, so I thought it might be a good idea to try one when my time comes. I'm a rising junior, for reference, in Computer Science. Late filing of franchise tax report in Texas? Posted: 05 Aug 2019 01:13 PM PDT I started an LLC in 2018 and was notified I had to pay sales and use tax. I didn't realize I also had to pay a franchise tax. I have been on top of the sales and use tax but just received a notice of the franchise tax not being payed. The state estimated $1,000 in taxes due (even though I haven't earned half of that since forming this LLC). Do I need to pay their incorrect estimate? Or do I just need to report the proper numbers and pay the $150 penalty? [link] [comments] |
