Nintendo Unveils Cheaper Handheld Console – the $200 Switch Lite Posted: 10 Jul 2019 10:09 AM PDT Nintendo said on Wednesday it will launch a new, smaller, and cheaper Switch console later this year called the Switch Lite. "Adding Nintendo Switch Lite to the lineup gives gamers more color and price point options," said Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser in a news release. "Now consumers can choose the system that best suits how they like to play their favorite Nintendo Switch games." The Switch Lite is slated to be released on Sept. 20 at a suggested retail price of $199.99. It will come in yellow, gray, and turquoise. Unlike its predecessor the Nintendo Switch, which was launched in March 2017, the Switch Lite is a dedicated hand-held gaming console with integrated controls. It doesn't support a video connection to televisions, while the earlier version does. The new console will be able to play Nintendo Switch games that support hand-held mode. The game company also said it would release a special Pokemon-themed version of the Switch Lite on Nov. 8. Nintendo (ticker: NTDOY) shares have risen about 40% this year due to strong software sales. Boeing Max grounding, severe weather leads to tough summer for airline travelers Posted: 10 Jul 2019 04:55 PM PDT But between the grounding of Boeing's Max jet, severe weather, union disputes and other issues, carriers are facing historic levels of delays and higher numbers of canceled flights. American canceled 3.5 percent of its overall schedule in June, roughly 7,500 domestic and international flights, according to data from Global Eagle, easily the highest among the largest four U.S. carriers. United canceled 2.1 percent, while Delta and Southwest both canceled under 1 percent. Delays are also on the rise. At United Airlines, severe weather and air traffic control issues led to the largest amount of delays the Chicago-based carrier has seen, a spokesman confirmed to FOX Business. Alongside weather and the Max grounding, American has also faced greater delays than competitors due to an ongoing dispute with labor unions. [link] [comments] |
I'm looking to join a stock community. Posted: 10 Jul 2019 08:45 AM PDT I'd like to use a platform like telegram or Discord and be with a group of people do due diligence on price targets and reverse splits calendars and so forth. Let me know if anybody does that kind of thing and how I can join. I'd love to put my research skills to work by contributing to the community. Thanks [link] [comments] |
