They aren't part of any compensation Boeing may have to pay to those who sue the company for damages related to accidents.

A total of 346 people died in the two crashes in October and March.

Put Options Play of July - Pepsi

    Posted: 03 Jul 2019 08:28 AM PDT

PepsiCo, Inc. operates as a food and beverage company worldwide. The company's Frito-Lay North America segment offers branded dips; Cheetos cheese-flavored snacks; and Doritos tortilla, Fritos corn, Lay's potato, Ruffles potato, and Tostitos tortilla chips. Its Quaker Foods North America segment provides cereals, rice, pasta, mixes and syrups, granola bars, grits, oat squares, oatmeal, rice cakes, simply granola, and side dishes under the Aunt Jemima, Cap'n crunch, Life, Quaker Chewy, Quaker, and Rice-A-Roni brands. The company's North America Beverages segment offers beverage concentrates, fountain syrups, and finished goods under the Aquafina, Diet Mountain Dew, Diet Pepsi, Gatorade, Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Propel, Sierra Mist, and Tropicana brands; and ready-to-drink tea, coffee, and juices. Its Latin America segment provides snack foods under the Cheetos, Doritos, Emperador, Lay's, Marias Gamesa, Rosquinhas Mabel, Ruffles, Sabritas, Saladitas, and Tostitos brands; Quaker-branded cereals and snacks; and beverage concentrates, fountain syrups, and finished goods under the 7UP, Diet Pepsi, Gatorade, H2oh!, Manzanita Sol, Mirinda, Pepsi, Pepsi Black, and Toddy. The company's Europe Sub-Saharan Africa segment offers snack food under the Cheetos, Chipita, Doritos, Lay's, Ruffles, and Walkers; Quaker-branded cereals and snacks; beverage concentrates, fountain syrups, and finished goods under the 7UP, Diet Pepsi, Mirinda, Pepsi, Pepsi Max, and Tropicana; ready-to-drink tea products; and dairy products under the Agusha, Chudo, and Domik v Derevne brands. Its Asia, Middle East and North Africa segment provides snack foods under the Cheetos, Chipsy, Doritos, Kurkure, and Lay's brands; cereals and snacks under the Quaker brand; beverage concentrates, fountain syrups, and finished goods under the 7UP, Aquafina, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Sting, and Tropicana brands; and ready-to-drink tea products. The company was founded in 1898 and is headquartered in Purchase, New York.

Those are some great brands, real tasty, a lifetime of profits and revenue. But look at Pepsi's debt level 33.2 Billion, and 5.3 Billion in cash, not a bad ratio of a mere 232. Seeing Pepsi is at all time historic high, and the market is at an all time historic high, I think if you were to buy puts based on valuation and market timing, this could be a good trade. My only fear is that July is already shaping up to be a very protected and inactive month, everyone is at the beach! So, a tuff trade nonetheless, but the put options are priced nicely, having traded successfully other food corps like Conagra and General Mills with 100%+ ROI, this is an extremely attractive put trade. - DayTradeReport

Im 15 and Im trying to learn how to Trade/Invest. Any tips?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2019 02:55 PM PDT

Ive recently been using Trading212 (Practise). Is this a good way to learn how to invest? You get $50,000 to practise with, which I have made $640,000 by investing in Commodities and Forex (Mostly GERMAN30 and Gold).

But Im doubting that Trading212 will simulate what acctually investing in real stocks and shares is like. Is there anyway I can learn from home which then when I go into college/university I have a firm understanding.

Also what carrer paths can this lead me into?

Christine Lagarde as new Präsident of ECB

She got nominated, what are thoughts on this?

I feel like it could be a threat for the Euro-Area, because ECB could go more political than it used to be.

What are your thoughts on the idea of INCREASING capital gains tax to ordinary income tax rates?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2019 12:23 PM PDT

It's 2020 election time and there are many candidates who are vying for this very idea. They want to increase capital gains taxes to potentially ordinary income rates and possibly MORE.

Based on this information, what is your take on this?

Differences between paper trading account and real trading account

    Posted: 03 Jul 2019 05:37 AM PDT

Hey guys I have a question: What are some real differences between a paper trading account and a real account? The things that comes to mind are 2 things:

    1. I'm assuming that a paper trading account doesn't affect market price shares and their prices..In a real live reading the shares traded will affect the market price because of shares bought/sold..is this true?
    2. In my paper trading account I notice that sometimes my orders are executed when the market price doesn't hit. For example if the market price is 95 and my stop loss is 94.5 my stop loss is immediately hit without the market price hitting 94.5. Anyone else have similar experiences? Does the same thing happen in a real live trading account?

High-Low=?? What's the name of this metric?

    Posted: 02 Jul 2019 10:40 PM PDT

I'm trying to set up a scanner that is based off of the price range in a day. For example, if a stock had a low of $8 for the day and a high of $20 for the day, what is the metric that would return a $12 range? This is different than %change as that's opening vs close, not high vs low. Anyone know what this is called? Can't find on Google.

    Thanks!

Amarin announcement seems irrelevant given pending approval in September

    Posted: 02 Jul 2019 10:21 PM PDT

Amarin jumped 16% after management increased full-year 2019 revenue guidance from a previous target of $350 million to a new midpoint of $400 million.

New mcap is $7.5bn instead of $6.5bn

Seems irrelevant given pending approval in September with Amarin set to become blockbuster in TAM of $40bn. If they win a 30% share with margins of 30% and a PE of 15 the mcap will be $54bn.

What am I missing? What are the obstacles to approval?

This is not a recommendation to buy or sell. Stocks are not suitable for everybody. Please do your own research.

    DD packet on PCG

    Posted: 02 Jul 2019 08:33 PM PDT

Have been long on PCG at about $7 until now, I watched the stock drop until I knew bad news was baked in, now it's time to cut the price by 50%

for more information come join the team on Twitter : @ Bullish_Club

The ad hoc committee of senior unsecured note holders of PG&E Corp (NYSE:PCG) filed their new Ch.11 reorganizaton plan (docket 2741) on June 25. Included in this court filing was a option to terminate the exclusive period that PG&E has to file their plan.. Many stakeholders are mostly pleased with this plan, but current common shareholders could face a massive dilution of their shares that could put significant downward pressure on the current stock price. A hearing on this motion is set for July 23.
