Southwest Airlines pulls Boeing 737 Max off flight schedule until October Posted: 27 Jun 2019 09:38 AM PDT The extended cancellations will removed about 150 daily flights from Southwest's schedule in September. The airline said customers impacted by the changes are being notified of other flight options. The FAA announced Wednesday that it had discovered a new issue with the Max that Boeing would need to resolve before the agency lifts the grounding order. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Jun 2019 06:18 PM PDT Sometimes when everyone sees a negative catalyst and prepares for it, the results aren't as devastating as they were feared. Black swan events cause trouble because they are unforeseen by most investors. This skittishness among fund managers could be seen as a good sign for stocks because it means there are plenty of bears who can turn into bulls, driving stocks higher when they buy them. This survey is all part of the very negative results seen from fund managers in June. The trade war was seen as the biggest tail risk which means that's why many of these managers took out protection against a decline in the next 3 months. It has already been over a week since this survey came out and nothing terrible has happened yet. In this survey, long treasuries was the most crowded trade for the first time ever. There has been euphoria amongst treasury bond investors as the economy's slowdown continues. [link] [comments] |
I’m not investing in $TSLA. Am I making a huge mistake? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 08:35 PM PDT Long time lurker. Hi everyone! I agree they've come so far. But the risk/reward just isn't there for me, even with the drop in price. I think competition is heating up, Panasonic will match the battery war, and the moat just isn't there. Am I making a mistake? [link] [comments] |
How do you react when an insider sells a boat load of shares? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 12:37 PM PDT Is it okay and normal to freak out when you see this? If no news is currently out about them, could this indicate something bad is coming? Or could it just be someone who wants to dig into those profits after holding for so long? Like what do people generally expect. If an insider sells but doesn't buy back in, surely this means the price is overvalued and will eventually fall back down to where the insider will buy again? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 01:07 PM PDT An acquisition of PCMI was announced at $35 per share cash a few days ago and is currently trading at or a few pennies below $35 currently. News just came that they were hit with a data breach and many clients' data was compromised. Given price is near acquisition price, I don't see any risk shorting. Doubt another buyer would come in lieu of news of breach. Stock can only stay at $35 (no loss for a short) or go down if this impacts the acquisition. What am I missing, investors? Posted: 27 Jun 2019 12:10 PM PDT Today we want to tell you what BRTR token can be used for and what you can pay with it on a sample of a barter agreement. For example, Maria wants to sell a painting belonging to the 18th century and is ready to exchange it for Ivan's yacht. The meaning of barter is that both parties consider their assets to be equivalent in value. The complexity of traditional barter deals lies in the different locations of the parties and their assets. Barter solves this problem and other difficulties. Description of the transaction process is presented below.
Thus, the BRTR token is an utility payment on the platform — it is used as a unit of account to execute a contract and increase confidentiality, as well as to pay for other Barter services. [link] [comments] |
