Being the Middle-Man. How much to charge for introductions? Posted: 01 Jun 2019 04:49 PM PDT I am in the design industry and I have the opportunity to link my client up with a small brand that would fit their portfolio. There is a potential for my client to invest in the small brand, and even buy them out completely. Id like to earn some money on the deal, what are the appropriate costs that you would expect someone in my situation to charge? My initial thought was to request a small reoccuring percentage of product sales using the lehman formula, and in the case of a buy out, take a one time percentage of the buyout cost (10%?) The info I am finding on standard rates seems to be all over the place. Am I being greedy? [link] [comments] |
