Posted: 02 Mar 2019 06:57 AM PST Weight Watchers is crumbling. Planet Fitness seems poised to poach these newcomers with new gyms popping up everywhere. I've watched PLNT for a while, it seems fast growing but with a higher PE than any holdings in my entire portfolio. Are you holding it? What are your thoughts? [link] [comments] |

US safety agencies to investigate fatal Tesla crash in Florida Posted: 02 Mar 2019 06:24 AM PST https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/02/us-safety-agencies-to-investigate-fatal-tesla-crash-in-florida.html A report on Friday's crash released by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department did not indicate if Autopilot was engaged at the time of the crash that killed the 50-year-old Tesla Model 3 owner. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said they are sending teams to investigate a fatal crash in Florida on Friday involving a Tesla car and a semi-trailer. The two agencies are investigating several crashes involving the use of Tesla's driver assistance system Autopilot including another fatal crash in California in March 2018. [link] [comments] |
How reliable of an "indicator" are insider transactions ? Posted: 02 Mar 2019 03:39 AM PST How much value to give recent insider transactions when you consider going long short ? I have a substantional position in CSCO and recently noticed a flurry of sales from a variety of insiders. The stock pushed very high, so i can see how there would be some merit in closing off. However, i still think that CSCO can leverage both 5G as well as the (questionable) push from the US in regards to Huawei. With the insider sellings however, i think its time to call it quits. Posted: 02 Mar 2019 08:38 AM PST It looks like CVS may be as far down as it's gonna go? Maybe a good time to buy in? It's at a 5 year low... [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Mar 2019 05:35 PM PST I feel like in the relative long run they can do well but I know people have a lot of different opinions on the company and their work but what do you guys think? [link] [comments] |
IMGN, fell 50% because of it failure in phase 3 in there chemotherapy treatment. Posted: 01 Mar 2019 06:46 PM PST I lost a good bit of money but I plan to hold, of course no one can know but I believe it's the right move. They said they still have 300 million in cash and will continue to attempt to cure. Does anyone have any thoughts on them moving forward. [link] [comments] |

Reinvested Dividend Stocks not showing in portfolio? Posted: 02 Mar 2019 12:42 PM PST Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place to post this. New to share trading. I have enrolled for Dividend Reinvestment Plans for all my stocks, however in my securities account AND the online share holdings, my balance is still the original principal amount I invested? It's been long enough that I should have an increased balance of each share due to dividend reinvestment right? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Mar 2019 12:27 AM PST Looking to begin investing in dividend and other relatively risk-free stocks and was looking for advice from more experienced investors as to who to invest in/where to look for good companies and stocks to invest in. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Mar 2019 12:14 PM PST I am new in this business of stocks. Any advice/suggestion is def appreciated. Thank you. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Mar 2019 11:51 AM PST I don't really know much about the stock market. Was reading about how the tax cuts caused buybacks instead of investment. But then I saw that companies bought back stock and then used that stock to reinvest in smaller companies which does improve the circulation. And how does a company keep buying back stock? Isn't there only so much to buy back? Eventually they'd have to start selling stock in order to buy it back, and I doubt they could keep up the rate of buybacks when they have less to buy back. So then the money would have to sit there... or get into R&D or get invested in other companies. [link] [comments] |
Question about credit spreads. Posted: 02 Mar 2019 09:46 AM PST If i sell a credit spread that's deep in the money but just below breakeven and it stays like that all the way up until expiry, what's my assignment risk? Should i worry about my option being flipped to another guy at a lower price and then being assigned at or before expiry? [link] [comments] |

I want to buy stock in companies that invest in human-computer integration. Recommendations? Posted: 02 Mar 2019 08:01 AM PST What are the companies that invest in this area? With human-computer integration I mean e.g. putting computer chips inside of the body. [link] [comments] |

Thoughts on URBN (Urban Outfitters) Earnings next Tuesday, March 5th. Posted: 01 Mar 2019 09:38 PM PST Urban outfitters is at an extremely low price and they have very good earnings history. Their 1 to 5 ratio is 2.6 and no major investors have any sell ratings. I am bullish about URBN when it comes to next Tuesday's earnings. What are your thoughts? [link] [comments] |

Anyone riding Acelrx Pharmaceuticals? Posted: 01 Mar 2019 07:11 PM PST Earnings and corporate update on their newly approved drug on March 7th. The drug funded by the department of defense and can also be used in hospital settings. Theyll definitely report bad numbers but they are supposed to lay out their strategy and update investors on whether they started shipping out product, which is supposed to happen at the end of Q1. Should be interesting. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Mar 2019 10:50 PM PST NTNX dropped 33% today after the recent earnings. What is the long case for the company? Do you see a path for its market cap going from $6B to $10B again, and eventually to $20-30B? [link] [comments] |
Thoughts on Kohl’s earnings report on March 5th Posted: 01 Mar 2019 09:36 PM PST Kohl's is reporting earnings next Tuesday on March 5th. I see this as an opportunity to be bullish, as their earnings surprises in the past 4 quarters has an average of up 11.3%. Also, their digital marketing growth is doing extremely well, and revenue is expected to perform exceedingly well. What are your thoughts about Kohl's earnings? [link] [comments] |
