| Posted: 08 Feb 2019 09:10 AM PST Suppose we invest in a start-up in its testing phases, and at this point it generates 0 income. Now let's assume this start-up is acquired for X amount before the testing is over (before the product hit the market, still 0 income). How would we calculate our IRR from this investment after its acquisition? Or will there be a better measure for returns? [link] [comments]  |
