Do rich countries have "fake" GDP

    Posted: 02 Oct 2018 09:25 PM PDT

Since GDP is measured by value of goods and SERVICES in a country in a given year, are first world countries "cheating" since their hourly labour rates are much higher than developing countries, which leads to high GDP nominal? Also then these people get higher salaries due to higher wage, and therefore goods can be priced higher (the same goods in a developing country would cost less). So is GDP just nonsense? Because it seems like artificial pricing on goods and services.

okay, i live in poverty and in the morning i will be making a choice as a soon to be 22 year old on what i want to do for the rest of my life.

i live in poverty, on foodstamps, live in low income housings, and eat at food banks most of the time and i really want to get out of poverty.

should i take online classes in exercise science from a non for profit school.

should i take up a trade even though math is my biggest weakness.

should i sell t-shirts online or go to filmmaking school

    Will AI replace salesmen?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2018 02:00 PM PDT

There is a lot of paranoia when it comes to AI causing job loss. I do think that AI will be synergistic with salesmen to close deals, but I don't think they'll be replaced (in the near future anyways).

    https://www.martechadvisor.com/articles/machine-learning-amp-ai/is-artificial-intelligence-the-future-of-sales/

The typical sales process is a process, which requires prospecting, engaging, showcasing the service or product, negotiating and constantly communicating. Questions and concerns will always arise, whether it be about pricing, competitor differentiators or contract details.

    Thoughts?

    The curse of fake reviews

    Posted: 02 Oct 2018 11:46 AM PDT

Hello guys, I just need a minute of your attention (and thanks for that!)...

I'm conducting a study on fake reviews and how to keep them going on ecommerce/marketplace platforms.

Have any of you suffered from this whether is from people just trying to bad-mouth your business or a competitor that got millions of 5 stars with no proper control whether they actually sold to these people or not? Please, share your thoughts, they are highly appreciated.

I handle payroll. I received a letter from ConServe stating that we legally have to garnish an employees wages within 10 days or be liable. Is this legit/where can I find more info?

    Posted: 02 Oct 2018 01:00 PM PDT

This was deleted from Personal Finances and the bot reccomend this subreddit. I work for a very small company. I have a background in accounting but there's a lot I don't know. Theres no one above me that I can contact about this. I'm am going to reach out to our tax accountants just to see if they have any info.

This letter has no Case ID or loan info other than the total amount owed. The employees name, address, and ss is correct. I'm going to contact the employee but I'm finding conflicting info online. Some say it's a scam others say it's a shady but legit 3rd party. I called Great Lakes and they said they have no info for me. They never heard of ConServe. I want to be able to inform him with the correct info when I call him.

Where I can find info on whether this is legitimate? Are there resources out there anyone can recommend for this type of thing?
