| What determines the share price of a REIT? Posted: 08 Jun 2018 02:27 PM PDT In the UK I'm looking put some money away into a REIT. My concern is that, just like ordinary shares the value can go down depending on market sentiment. I've read something along the lines of REITs sometimes using NAV to hold onto a set price. And this may be true with some REITs as there's little variation (http://www.aewukreit.com/investors/share-price/share-price-centre). However there are other REITs I have looked at which show continious share price declines (https://www.intugroup.co.uk/en/investors/investor-tools/). What factors might cause this to happen?
