More and more connected devices should boost demand for Skyworks connectivity chips

    Posted: 02 Jun 2018 09:22 AM PDT

The company's main business has been smart phones but as more and more devices from door bells to cars become connected to the internet Skyworks should see strong growth in demand. That'll be boosted further by the roll out of 5G. Despite the bright prospects the stock is trading on a TTM PE of about 16 and forward 2018 PE of just 14. A 30% increase to a stock price of 18 looks very possible.

Studies: the stock market’s short term downside is limited, medium-long term is bullish

    Posted: 01 Jun 2018 10:44 PM PDT

The stock market's long term is bullish: fundamentals continue to improve (e.g. Unemployment Rate and Initial Claims are still trending down).

The stock market's medium term is bullish - most technical studies point to gains in the next few months.

And as always, the short term is a 50-50 bet. The short term is hard to predict consistently and accurately.
