Suggestions on how to exit a stock on open you know is going to tank, Strange Situation. Posted: 01 May 2018 02:28 PM PDT So I'm in a super unique situation with the pinksheet stock axxa, it used to be tlnuf and I bought 500,000 shares of it when it was. Last week it went through a ticker symbol change to axxa. However apparently because they are switching from a company in Canada to one in Delaware there has been a delay in the actual share transfer. Meanwhile the stock has been going absolutely parabolic because of this share dependency but noone with tlnuf shares can sell. I know once those shares finally transfer and are sell-able the stock is going to correct real hard I have no delusions of that, at the end of the day it's a huge pump and dump short squeeze. My question is how do you think I should go about getting out of it when I can? Should I say screw it and just put a market sell on open or should I attempt a limit sell on the ask? I'm leaning towards market, I figure it will tank in huge chunks and I probably won't get filled all at once but it seems safer than waiting for a limit that might never fill and then I have to fumble to change it to a market. submitted by /u/LucefieD [link] [comments] |

TradingView Pine Script help pleeeeease! QUICK 5 min answer only! Posted: 01 May 2018 06:53 PM PDT I am trying to modify the MACD script that ChrisMoody designed. My goal is instead of using a static custom timeframe to instead use the current timeframe * 5 so for example this is how I was trying to change it. Stock market automation Posted: 01 May 2018 04:54 PM PDT Currently on my third and final year studying economics in high school in Sweden. Read a bunch of articles on the topic but wanted some insight directly from people who works with this stuff on a daily basis. Is there a future for actual people on the stock market? What do you guys think? Is it worth continuing to study economics at uni or should I opt for something more 'safe'? Thanks for any input and sorry if this has been posted countless of times already. submitted by /u/Samkio [link] [comments] |
How can I make a linearly weighted moving average with Pine Script? Posted: 01 May 2018 04:47 PM PDT Hi, I'm new to Pine Script. I'm trying to figure out how to make a series for each candle where every preceding candle is an increment less in the series. (Latest candle 15 + 14 + 13 + ... + 1 and candle before that 14 + 13 + 12 + ... + 1). Also another question I have is if I go over 15 candles back, will the linearly weighted EMA still appear? I'm looking to make this based on inputs for what length (in days) that a user can enter. submitted by /u/shamoy [link] [comments] |

How to invest in ventures? Posted: 01 May 2018 03:01 PM PDT I'd like to invest a little money in high risk / potential high reward ventures. Is there a company or something like a hedge fund that does this? Since I can't invest in ventures directly (as they are usually not publicly traded), I thought this could be a viable option. I'm also open for other suggestions. Thanks for advice! submitted by /u/aleqqqs [link] [comments] |
