    Starting Gaming Center

    Posted: 30 May 2018 07:53 PM PDT

Hello! Very new around here but seeing as I'm apart of a plan to start a business, I thought I'd start by making a post.

    1. Just curious if anyone has opened a lan gaming center of their own and how well it did/how the process went, etc..

    2. Or just about how stressful it is to open a business in general.

None of us that are going into this went to business school but it's been a dream for a really long time of ours and recently came into a large sum of money.. so basically we see the light at this point of making this dream come true..

Any tips or tricks to make getting a lease easy or for successfully running a business or anything else you may want to share would be wonderful!

As always, if more information is needed, I'm more than always available to reply!

    Thank you in advance!

Looking for good tips and best practices when making a schedule.

    Posted: 30 May 2018 05:37 PM PDT

Company is using Salesforce, so i'm hoping they have some good software that will autopopulate a schedule based on a list of staff and availability/training etc. In the meantime, is there possible a free online tool for this? Or some good articles about best practices and methods to use?

    Cheers!

    Looking for business ideas

    Posted: 30 May 2018 04:17 PM PDT

Would like to work for myself. Needs to be something hands on. Outdoorsy. I work full time in IT like field. I have 10k I can invest. I live in Durham NC. Hoping to maintain Income and make enough to afford insurance for business and wife. Could I do a cement business with that much money? My father in law had a cement business in NJ but retired before we really had much of a relationship. Dude did really well for himself and retired to Europe. I studied engineering and have business degree. Not looking for anything fancy just something in demand or a utility. I'm pretty handy and volunteer for habitat for humanity which I love to do. Ideas?
