Posted: 08 Mar 2018 03:10 AM PST anyone done the work on LNGG? its a post bankruptcy Energy company that took on way too much debt before 3 hedge funds took it down. Elliot, Fir Tree and York control it with over 50% of the shares, which they got through owning the debt. They have been selling assets for 2x + for what they were on the balance sheet for (after fresh start accounting). Trades on 1.3x book. Also plans on IPO'ing their midstream assets and wither selling or spinning the legacy high cash flow low capex assets. The sexy bit is Roan resources they created with Citizen that has some top assets in the SCOOP/STACK/MERGE. Also did a recent tender at $44, trades at $38. I'm a generalist but this seems way too cheap. Interested if any specialists have opposing views? [link] [comments] |

Dollar Tree 15% loss for failing to meet "analyst expectations." Posted: 07 Mar 2018 07:07 PM PST It's mind boggling to me that a company can have a great year with increased profit margins, increased sales, and increased earnings but still have it's market value plummet because it slightly missed an analyst estimated mark. I feel that it's drop was a major overreaction and am thinking of buying in. Any thoughts on the stock drop or just the company in general, feel free to share. [link] [comments] |
Financial investments and equity method assets in ROIC calculation Posted: 07 Mar 2018 12:38 PM PST Am looking at a company with low net fixed assets but high financial investments and assets under the equity method. Are these part of the net fixed assets? The company has not disclosed whether the income from the equity stake will be part of operating profit. [link] [comments] |
