Pension plus deferred comp or Roth IRA Posted: 31 Jan 2018 09:54 AM PST Hello Reddit. I have been a government employee for the past 5 years and have taken a second look at my finances. I current contribute to our pension plan but I'd like to contribute to outside retirement accounts as well. Should I contribute to a 457 deferred compensation plan, Roth IRA, or combination of both? For reference I am 27 and make about 82k a year. Thanks for the help! [link] [comments] |
