Posted: 07 Jan 2018 01:58 PM PST This is more of an opinion post, but I have never realized any value from this site. Is it just me? I always get the feeling that they write articles about obscure stocks that they are likely invested in. What are some good financial sites that don't feel like the soup of the day? Estimating a company's debt capacity? Posted: 08 Jan 2018 10:33 AM PST Hello there, I'm looking at a company with no long-term debt at all, and I'm trying to get a rough estimate of its debt capacity. What would be a good approach to do this? I was thinking of looking into the EBITDA coverage ratio of comparable companies and go from there, but I'm open to ideas. Any thoughts? Anyone graduated with a degree in Finance, what did you do with it? Posted: 08 Jan 2018 10:25 AM PST As a Finance major I'd like to get some real insight on what jobs you can land with a Finance degree. I always saw college as a big investment and decided to go for a "prestigious" degree in business. I picked Finance in hopes to be financially well off but it does not interest me at all. Is it as soul-sucking as it sounds? [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 08 Jan 2018 09:51 AM PST Tomorrow morning I will be visiting KKR & Co. and J.P. Morgan in New York City with my university's investment club. There will be a Q&A so I want to make sure my questions are impressive. The only problem is, I have only taken one finance class so far, so my depth of knowledge regarding banking and private equity is limited. I want my questions to be relevant and insightful. If anyone could help me come up with some questions I could the firm's representatives, I would be very grateful. Thank you [link] [comments] |
