What companies are doing well in the U.S. stock market currently and will continue to do so until the end of this year?

I am planning to purchase stocks (for a class game, not IRL) and want to know how I can make a good profit in say, the next 2 weeks.

A profit of around 5,000 dollars to even 20,000 dollars would be amazing.

I currently have $100,497.03 and the #1 guy in the game has $119,303.47

Beating him would be a longshot but even getting into the top 90-s or 80-s (out of 201) would be great.

I was in 100th place not so long ago but I slipped to 150 in one day and now I'm in 163. I want to step my game up.

My grade depends on it, and even if it didn't, I am actually interested in stocks and how they dictate a company's strengths and don't plan on not using stocks after the class is over.

    Thanks!

EDIT: These are my current stocks which I have bought: https://ibb.co/nLw0vG

I used to have other stocks but sold them because they were going downhill

If you want to see the #1 guy's stocks, let me know

I have no idea on where to start

I've been going back and forth on investing, but since this is so much for someone who knows so little, I want to know what I'm doing before I hop into this business. Can anyone show me where to start? All the basics and what not? Thank you.
