Father passed and my brother and I found an old oil stock certificate. Posted: 05 Dec 2017 02:39 PM PST I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place for this kind of question, if it is not, please point me in the right direction. Last week my father passed and my brother and I were looking through all of his papers. I stumbled upon a stock certificate purchased by my grandfather in 1980. My brother and I know nothing about stocks and I certainly don't have the means to hire a stockbroker or anyone for that matter. My brother seems to think that this could be of value. I, on the other hand, believe that it's just a really awesome heirloom. If you know anything about it, or if it's of any value, info would be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] |
What is the best company to invest in for the next 4 months Posted: 05 Dec 2017 01:46 PM PST I have a project at school. Basically I'm given $10,000 and have 4 months to buy stock. Whoever has the most money out of 8 people win. This is just a simulation. What stocks should I buy? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |

Do you think its better to average down BABA or diversify more wuth buying VISA with this current situation? Regards, hellownero [link] [comments] |

Delphi Automotive (NYSE: DLPH) Down 50% Due to Spin Off Posted: 05 Dec 2017 08:27 AM PST So I bought DLPH at $97/share. It recently changed its name to Aptiv, which is to be listed as NYSE: APTV although I couldn't find it on Robinhood (yet?), and Delphi remains as its powertrain focused spinoff. DLPH plummeted to ~$52 today. My question is, am I owed a share APTV? Or am I screwed? [link] [comments] |
