| What is your favorite home based platform to teach a noob on? Opinions please. Posted: 04 Dec 2017 10:07 AM PST Hi, I am trying to teach a few of my friends the first steps in investing their money. Simple buy and hold theory, mostly pertaining to blue chip dividend stocks. Unfortunately I use the proprietary software provided by my firm and not a home game investor platform. What would be people's opinions on a platform (s) ease of use for the absolute noob investor? Nothing overly complicated, maybe including a realtime simulator. E-Trade, Ameritrade, TradeStationn etc? If they have the ability to trade options and forex that would be fine but I am ultimately looking for something streamlined to walk my friends through by the hands step-by-step.
