Book recommendations for opening a physical location Posted: 14 Dec 2021 07:44 AM PST Hello, There are plenty of book recommendations on Reddit but I haven't been able to find exactly what I'm after). I'm looking for a book (or YouTube series, website, podcast etc) that goes over the basics of opening a physical storefront locations. Many of the information I've seen seem to focus on the mindset, setting good habits, negotiations, become a better employer, changing your way of thinking etc which are really helpful things but not currently what I'm looking for. I'm specifically looking for information about more practical advice on opening a physical location (activity Centre in Australia), how much cash to have in reserve when you start up, pitfalls to avoid, account software recommendations, essential areas to invest upfront and potential areas of the business that can be built up later, types of insurance you'll need to look at etc. Basically a business opening your own business practical tips for Dummies type of thing. Does anyone have any recommendations? [link] [comments] |
