Is getting a loan for something as simple as it appears to be in the movie “Yes Man”?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2021 10:22 PM PST

In the movie all you had to do was go to the bank tell them what you want the loan for and they decide whether or not to give you a loan? Is getting a loan that simple?

    Business partnership help

    Posted: 21 Nov 2021 09:30 PM PST

So this is a question for those who have been in a business partnership, whether successful or unsuccessful...

About a year ago, my friend and I started a company, and it has done very well so far. We have made a lot of progress and are nearing our launch soon. What bothers me, though, is that I am the facilitator of every interaction our company has. I do everything, and I ask him to do smaller projects. And when I ask him to do smaller projects, it usually takes a while, and I need to remind him to do it continuously. For example, I went to Mexico for ten days not too long ago, I asked him to do two things, and he did not get them done until I was in the airport on the way home, bitching at him.

What I mean by everything was creating our product, making the website, handling graphic design, and banking. I deal with every relationship between the company and others. It just feels like this isn't even a partnership. I feel like I'm running everything, and he's just there for the ride.

I honestly don't know what to do. The layout of our partnership is based on how much money each person puts in. As of right now, it's 85% me and 15% him. To get back to 50/50, he would need to pay me thousands of dollars. I've emphasized and explained the importance of him paying me as I can't afford to pay out of pocket much longer.

In the beginning, it was okay though, we split everything 50/50, but when it came to more significant expenses, he was unable to cover those costs. So it's just racked up over time, and I want to get back to 50/50.

I thought about setting a deadline and telling him by a specific time I wanted to update the partnership agreement and layout the ownership based on how much he had paid me by then. I also thought about buying his share and being the sole owner.

Whenever I talk to others about this situation, they say I'm stupid, that I should cut this off, and that my patience is "amazing." But I believe he is a very smart individual with many potentials, and I want to keep him with me for the future.

Any help is greatly appreciated, lol.

Bs in information technology with specialization in animation and game development

    Posted: 21 Nov 2021 09:06 PM PST

Hello. I'm an incoming freshman. I just wanted to ask a dumb question. Can I be an IT instructor or an entrepreuner in the IT industry if I study BS in IT with specialization in animation and game development? Or I can only be an animator or game developer, etc. because of my specialization? Are my job opportunities for this course limited?

Using the same name as another company?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2021 12:26 PM PST

    Hi all,

Looking for advice. I was going to label my product and searched Google to see if the name was gone.

It was trademarked as a animal food product. The product I will be doing will be for humans

Would this likely result in a lawsuit if I was to name my product this?

Any recommendations for affiliate and referral marketing apps?

    Posted: 21 Nov 2021 04:15 PM PST

I'm running a Shopify store and currently using several referral marketing tools.

    Here are the questions.

1, Do you have any recommendations for referral and affiliate marketing tools?

2, Is there anything to keep in mind when it comes to referral/affiliate marketing?

3, For those who pay money for someone in exchange for making sales of your products, how do you pay them(ex. every 2 weeks)? What tools do you use to pay(ex. PayPal)?

    Please let me know.

Hi guys, do you have any idea about how to turn a personal instagram page of 15k followers with an active audience, into a business that will make me earn some money through it? Actually it's my personal instagram page that I grew up in the past years but I would feel free to turn it into something that will make me earn money, but I have no idea and I don't want to do something that I have passion to it but just something that for sure you think could turn into an earning mode. thanks
