    Business & Entrepreneurship Is Good For You

    Hi there, first time posting, admin, please delete if not suitable.

    I am an entrepreneur (since 2008) and hustled from nothing and built up a therapy business in Singapore which got acquired eventually. Took a sabbatical from Dec 2017 to June 2019 and now helping with wife's therapy business (bought into equity when I joined).

    Looking to grow an online business too but have struggled with it since 2018. I recently started a YouTube channel (been very resistant to videos) to share about entrepreneurship, money, personal growth (still exploring) so thought to share here.

    Let me know what you think, what I can add into the videos, what I can share more about, what can I help with, thank you.

    Incubator for Teen Businesses

    Hey Everyone!

    Being a startup founder myself (having bootstrapped my startup for the past 7 years), I know the problems faced during the initial days to raise funding or even find potential business partners specially if you are a teen.

    I started my startup at 18, and it took me so many months even to find out if I was doing every thing correctly. I didn't have any fund or contacts, did everything from scratch, so I know how difficult the initial days are.

    Based on our past experiences, me along with some of my entrepreneur partners we have decided to launch our free Incubation Program which will help teens launch their business and get their first set of customers.

    The program is completely free to apply (Also we won't take any equity). If you are a teen/ or know someone who is teen having an awesome startup idea/prototype, can apply for our 3 month incubation program here

    Predatory Pricing but won't spike prices back up? Legal?

    Assume my only goal is to have these guys run out of business. Don't care about profit or anything. Could I legally set up a business right next to this other business, undercut prices to the point the other business definitely won't be able to survive, and then if I just maintain those prices will I still be in trouble for price skimming?

    Yes my only goal would be to actually make this business go out but the way I see it is the whole illegality of predatory Pricing or monopolies in the first place was so buyers don't get screwed. But in this case this will still be better for the buyers. So legal or not?

    So I recently started a business (LLC specifically) and picked up a business credit card to make it easier to track my expenses associated with the business. The credit limit is $5,000 but if I spend $7,500 in 3 months then I get $750 back. Was wondering if anyone had some crafty ideas of getting to that number in order to obtain the reward. My business isn't income producing yet but hopefully in the next 5 months it will be self sustaining in that capacity.

    How To Handle A Complaint Customer

    1) Listen Listen to everything the customer has to say. Let them get in off their chest.

    2) Empathize Tell the customer, "I am very sorry that you are upset," or "I am very sorry that this happen to you." You are not admitting guilt, just that you care about how they feel.

    3) Clarify Re-state the problem to the customer. Make sure you know why the customer is upset and show them you are listening.

    4) Solution Offer the customer a solution to the problem. Remember, you want to take care of the problem, but you must stay within your company policies. Never offer to give their money back at first. Once they have their money back, you've lost them as a customer.

    5) Solution 2 If the first solution doesn't make the customer happy, then offer another solution.

    6) Customer's Solution If the customer is still not satisfied with your solutions, then ask "What would you like me to do?" If the request is reasonable, then honor the request. If the request is not reasonable, try to meet them half-way.

    7) Turn Over If customer is still not happy, ask for help. Maybe you are just not clicking with the customer. Maybe a manager or supervisor needs to get involved. Your goal is to win the customer. Only use if steps 1-6 don't work. If you turn over a customer before you even try, that customer will never come to you again. Instead they will go to the person you turned them over to and then they will be their customer. Remember your goal is to win the customer over. When you take care of a customer with a problem, you will likely win a customer for life.

    8) Atonement Say you're sorry again for the customer being upset. If the customer was really upset and the problem was yours or the company's fault make sure you mean it. If your company will allow it try to give them a free gift. It doesn't have to be anything big, just something to show that you care about their feelings.

    9) Thank You Thank them for their patience and understanding.

    10) Follow-Up If you have something else to do to take care of this problem, then get it done and get it done right. If you fail to follow-up you will loose the customer forever. If on the other hand you do a great job of following-up, you will win a customer for life and that customer will bring you more customers.

    Remember one thing whenever you are helping a customer, "Do onto others as you would have done onto you."

    I currently reside in Texas and also want to dabble in the hemp/cbd world as well, but I know it can be costly. To also put in perspective, i'm currently enrolled in college (24) but starting my own line has always been a huge goal of mine.

    Business hierarchy (URGENT)

    Hi everyone, I would like to ask, if a large company has an executive and director that works in the same department. Would that mean that the director of that department has authority over the executives (in other words, does the director of that department manage the executives of that department?)
