| Academic Research Study Opportunity - Investor Participants Needed Posted: 02 Aug 2021 07:24 AM PDT We are a team of Assistant and Associate Professors of Accounting from the University of Kansas School of Business. We are working on a research experiment that examines the influence of greenwashing on retail investor sentiment and behavior. We use a short survey to collect data, which should take ten minutes or less to complete. Our study would benefit greatly from gathering survey data from actual retail investors such as yourself. All r/InvestmentClub users at least 18 years of age residing in the United States are eligible to participate. We will be providing $30 Amazon gift cards to thirty randomly selected Reddit users. In this study, you will be asked to view screenshots of a hypothetical firm's website and read a little about the firm. Then you will be asked to fill out an online questionnaire about your perceptions of the firm. This research project has approval from the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP), University of Kansas. There are no benefits to participating, and there are no risks to participating above those associated with daily life. You may enter the gift card drawing by providing your email address at the link below, whether or not you choose to participate in our research. We will also collect your Reddit username to verify your active investor status. We will not share any of this identifying information, nor will we use your email address for any purpose other than notifying you about whether you won a gift card. The identifying information collected will not be connected with any of the answers you provide in the study questionnaire or made public in any way.
