    Should I do an MBA?

    Posted: 02 Aug 2020 12:53 AM PDT

I am working as a software engineer for about 10years. Now I am at a point where I feel everyday coding doesn't excite me and isn't fulfilling. I would like to work on something related to social impact. Help in an NGO or start one to help to educate kids/elder people using technology. I am a relatively introvert, aloof kind of person who has no knowledge of how to do business. Do you think an MBA will help me or you think an MBA is of not much value for me and I should just work in an NGO firm and just get experience and someday start of my own firm?

    Thoughts on EIDL Fraud

    Posted: 02 Aug 2020 12:14 AM PDT

I am very disappointed but I have found out that a few people I know have received more than 10k for applying for the EIDL. I'm so upset with them. It's really been kicking me as I have been working really hard at my job and they have been receiving more money than I make while having unemployment benefits and getting this SBA EIDL loan. They are partying and are parasitic to our economy and dollar.

They are not sole proprietors, nor contractors and definitely not gig workers. One of them is even a student and is still getting unemployment checks. I'm pissed.

These loans are meant to help people who really need it.

What are going to be their consequences? There has to be some safe guards to this. No telling how many other people are doing this.

Client sent payment to my personal account. Ok to write myself a check to my business account?

    Posted: 01 Aug 2020 07:03 PM PDT

I'm not sure if this looks ok for my taxes. I have an LLC and a client sent an ACH payment to an older personal bank account.

Should I just write a check to my business account from my personal account, or would that look suspicious?

    Thanks!

What do you think: financial or business analyst?

    Posted: 01 Aug 2020 07:40 PM PDT

I have a bachelor in marketing (which I was sort of obligated to take). I wanted to change major but since the career was only three years, I prefered to just finish it. Now, am thinking in taking a master degree in finance or business analytics/big data. I am good with numbers and want a position to analyze a business, because I think that is where my strengths are. Financial or business analyst is what I have my eyes on currently. But I cant seem to decide between the two.

My dilemma Is that if I get a master in finance, I feel that possibly having a bachelor in marketing my difficult entrance into finance industry. Also finance is obviously much more industry specific than business analytics. On the other hand, I do think that it could possible be better to have a Master in Finance since it is a much more established subject, and get BA/Big data certifications online. Or the other way around, maybe I would try to get a CFA by myself.

What do you guys think? Which should I take?

    I appreciate any feedback!!!

Hey I'm getting ready to study business administration and was looking for some books to read. I would like to hear some suggestions in the leadership, sales, or if you want to send a title and a description of the meaning within the books. Thanks everyone.

    Posted: 01 Aug 2020 11:30 AM PDT

I am planning on starting a small game developing studio named "Tree Lion Studios". The thing is "TreeLion" is already some Chinese vegan company.

Should I stick with the Tree Lion Studios plan, or am I sailing on risky waters?
