Posted: 11 Aug 2020 12:06 AM PDT I work for my fairly small to medium sized family business and I'm always baffled when someone asks my designation. I am also puzzled about what designation I should write in my email signature and business card. Here are the roles I assume:
What I don't do anymore is:
As I cover a vast area, which formal designation would best suit me? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Aug 2020 10:12 PM PDT Hey guys, I just graduated high school and will be attending college in the fall. I'm very anxious. I want nothing more than to be successful. I want to get my degree and pursue a career in sports or entertainment/music. Or do I? I don't want to be chained to a 9 to 5 though. I want to be making income but actually be able to enjoy life before my time here is up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] |

Sales Advice You Have Never Read Before Posted: 10 Aug 2020 03:33 PM PDT The shortest advice I have read on sales is ''SELL IT'' Sell it when you are asked. Sell it even when no one asked for it. The greatest product you can offer for sale is your VALUE. Never sell yourself short. Give a wonderful smile to every client, that is the cheapest you can offer. Attract them with a competitive discount. End your message politely with the aim to win your client. Be attentive to what they have to say. Like a doctor, your clients are your patients they need your solution. Don't let them go with their illness. Sell your advice, recommendations, suggestions for FREE. Most top sales managers only use few capsules from here to treat their clients. Over 50% return has been recorded by those who mastered this skill. Be kind. Be friendly. Be attentive and ready to go EXTRA miles. [link] [comments] |
Desperate to leave current role, and not handling interviews well Posted: 10 Aug 2020 11:37 AM PDT If anyone can give some advice here, I hate my job. Its an ops analyst role, for global market operations. Its sketchy, and more political/toxic than I could have ever expected. Something isn't right about this job, and I almost get sick every morning knowing I have to log on and deal with all this. I dont sleep well, all that. When I interview, its just not right. Im not in the right frame of mind. I dont know how to calm down, and just be positive. My resume is impressive, I have gone above and beyond in this role. Problem is its my first real office job since graduating, and Ive barely been here for a year [link] [comments] |

Rebranding. An Investment in the Future. When your business needs rebranding? Posted: 10 Aug 2020 07:58 AM PDT Have you ever asked yourself when your business need rebranding? Any company that wants to remain in the market, need this soon or later. The market dynamic demands responding from the business. Competitors are moving forward, consumers are following new trends, and those who didn't want to change will be left behind. I'm sure, nobody likes such a scenario. On our blog we discuss the main points of rebranding. Have you ever done a rebranding of your business? What problems did you face? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 10 Aug 2020 01:37 PM PDT Thinking about starting a retail business, i have a unique situation where I am confident that a portion of the market will support the store. Was wondering if it would be possible to negotiate rental rates due to being a start up. Also was wondering if maybe realtors would negotiate a price in respect for a business owner being a young entrepreneur (22) [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Aug 2020 08:27 AM PDT Hello! Does anyone here know of any of these types of programs or software that can help maximize profitability and workflow? I want to make the business process as simple and organized as possible. I have a website where I have a call to action for customers looking for our luxury products to give their email and/or phone number to request a free estimate. I wonder if it's best to set up an automated emailer that can weed out the customers who are just price shopping and send me customers who are ready to buy so I don't waste my time calling and responding to every inquiry which is often just people who are more curious than interested in buying. From there I set up an appointment with the customer if required to do measurements which is often the case. Then I get a downpayment and finalize their order details with them right then and there. From there I order from the manufacturer and await shipment, receive shipment, deliver and install the product, collect final payment or set up a payment plan, and move on to the next. I'm trying to streamline this as easy as possible. Any suggestions from someone in a similar business model would be GREATLY APPRECIATED and I'm even willing to pay if you're a professional capable of helping me and producing results. But I'm cautious of scammers so don't waste either of our time if you're not serious about what you're promoting as a useful tool for a small business model. [link] [comments] |
Starting a business of our own Posted: 10 Aug 2020 11:26 AM PDT My husband and I, along with his cousin and cousins wife, are starting a bakery business. What would be the best business structure to register the bakery as? I'm having a hard time deciding and understanding. [link] [comments] |
