    Online marketing courses and certification

    Posted: 11 Jun 2020 01:34 AM PDT

Hello! Nice to meet you. :)

I would like to ask if there is any online course for marketing? I'm willing to take courses and have certificates to understand and learn both theory and practical skills of marketing.

My uni provides a general marketing course in which I didn't learn anything new just the basics. And at the moment because of the covid-19, my uni is closed so during this time I want to occupy my time learning and improving.

So if you know of any good course please recommend it to me. Thank you!

Zoom Earns Profit! That was Expected but who else will Follow!

    Posted: 11 Jun 2020 02:00 AM PDT

I believe this is the most expected post that I've read in a long time. Kudos to Zoom for upping their game in these times of crisis. Indeed necessity is the mother of invention!

I'm sure we'll see a lot of brands strategizing in accordance with the nature of demands post the pandemic lockdown.

A couple of my ideas I would like to get feedback on?

    Posted: 11 Jun 2020 01:18 AM PDT

Hey guys, I would like to think of my self as some what a business man. Back in school I sold Ugg boots and had people working for me. Made a ton of money. Also sold iPhone cases on eBay, made a ton there. Was getting the cases for less then 50p each and selling for £7. Anyway a couple years ago I started a new watch brand with my friend, MCML, we got 7K likes on our Facebook, 2k on our insta. But didn't really make any sales? Decided to just shut it all down after around 4 months. I've decided I feel I'm better alone in the business world so here are my two ideas. 1- design and sell branded t shirts. I'm good at graphic design on the pc, I know what's trending, I live in a trendy city we're materialistic stuff is a must so I always see what's new and what people like. I've already ordered a batch of different t shirts and found the best quality, also washed them to see how they wash. I've got a brand name. Problem is big (for me) start up cost. Be about £1500. 2- scented men's soaps and gels. I'm also one for my aftershaves and scents. I have learnt how to make bars of soaps and shower gels. Could make shower gels and soaps the same smells as popular aftershaves with cool colours. Nice branding. I feel a lot of girlfriends and wife's would buy this stuff as a filler for a birthday etc. Only problem with this is I would be making the batches in my kitchen, quite a lot of time taken doing this. What do you think? Go easy please if you think it's rubbish!

    Business idea, please feedback!

    Posted: 10 Jun 2020 04:32 PM PDT

Hey r/business people, I may need some feedback on this company I've made during the last week.

It allows restaurants to easily generate a digital menu accessible using a QR code. It is very common now (at least in Spain)

The key point of GoDigital is that the menu is synchronized with a Google Sheet !

What do you think? Feedback please!

For a majority of my life I've been in contractor positions or self employed. I just turned 23 and was promoted to a full time salaried management position. As if that was a big enough change, the pandemic wiped out my entire team. Is there anyone willing to help teach me the proper ways to go about things? I feel like I do so many little things wrong and the anxiety of losing this job is preventing me from putting out my best work. Any advice here?

Starting my first e-commerce business, need some tips!

    Posted: 10 Jun 2020 09:33 PM PDT

I'm currently an 18 year old undergraduate student starting a business based around gaming peripherals (keyboards, mice, etc), and was wondering what the best way to start selling my products online would be for cost effectiveness. I've heard of things like drop shipping, but am very new and inexperienced in the eCommerce scene so I'm not sure the best way to sell and distribute my products. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot in advance!

Bank FDs now fetch less than savings accounts

    Posted: 10 Jun 2020 09:23 PM PDT

It no longer pays to keep your money locked up in a bank. Fixed deposit (FD) rates have plummeted in recent months, with short-term rates now hovering very close to or below savings account rates for some banks.

my Future is in remote work: what skillz can i learn?

    Posted: 10 Jun 2020 07:28 PM PDT

I will retire in the next few years, sort of. I want to continue working remotely and my question is -- in the next few years, what skills are businesses going to be hiring for remote workers? I am looking for something that will take me a few weeks as opposed to a few years to learn.
