Posted: 07 Feb 2020 11:31 AM PST Is there a formula that helps calculate intrinsic value. I recently watched a video from Preston Pysh explaining how to calculate intrinsic value of a company mimicking Warren Buffet's way of calculating intrinsic value but I would like to know if there is a better way? I keep hearing of using the Discount Cash Flow model or Dividend Model and more different models. But how do you calculate intrinsic value? What do you recommend? [link] [comments]

What are these calls this person sold? Posted: 07 Feb 2020 02:22 PM PST " Next, he spent nearly $27,500 of his earnings on seven Tesla calls on February 3. Each of the options granted him the right to buy the stock at $700 until February 21. After the stock surged, he sold each call — worth $3,925 when he bought them — for $17,025, more than quadrupling his money" [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Feb 2020 10:13 AM PST Just be to be clear, there is no reason to hold on to HMNY right? I know they declared bankruptcy and my 18,000 plus shares are worth about $6, but they're totally dead right? No chance of it going back up at all. Any recs for a penny stock to funnel that 6 bucks into? LOL. [link] [comments]

White House adviser Larry Kudlow says he wants Fed to be bolder with rate cuts Posted: 07 Feb 2020 08:51 AM PST White House adviser Larry Kudlow on Friday said he "wouldn't mind seeing" the Federal Reserve "be a little bolder" with interest-rate cuts. His comment came in a Fox Business Network interview after host Stuart Varney said stocks "moved down this morning because with such a strong report on jobs, the Federal Reserve is not likely to cut rates, and I think a lot of investors were hoping for a rate cut." President Donald Trump and his officials often have pushed for easier monetary policy. [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Feb 2020 11:22 AM PST I'm studying electronic engineering and I would like to learn about the subject before having my first job so I don't invest in useless stock. Coronavirus vs. Market Impact question Posted: 07 Feb 2020 01:44 AM PST Why is there not a larger market reaction to the challenges and obstacles the coronavirus has brought? Airports, hotels, restaurants, factories, manufacturers, stores, distribution, etc. --- all affected heavily. Companies have already started to call down numbers. Why are the markets still more or less leveled? [link] [comments]

WHY PEOPLE DONT BUY AMD STOCKS Posted: 07 Feb 2020 06:06 AM PST Hi. I am relatively new to investing and started investing in AMD. The thinking was that AMD is going to make GPU for PS5 and Xbox new Series. The problem is I don't get it why no one is talking about that? Every one is talking about them making computer chips. Investing, swing trading or options trading? Posted: 07 Feb 2020 06:05 AM PST Hello everyone, I am quite new to investing and although I have read a lot about this subject and watched tons of material in order to learn more, I haven't really invested anything yet...not even a penny. Thing is, I am 20 years old and studying so I really do not have a lot of money (700 $) so I was wondering about what is the right kind of investment I should follow. In long term investing, even if I made 15 per year, that wouldn't really change my life since I am starting with a low amount of money; swing trading is a little riskier but it could generate higher percentages and ultimately there is options trading (of which I absolutely know nothing about). This last form of investing, options, seems to give sky high returns to lots of people and that's what I need, to grow my money faster! But is it so much riskier than usual investing? Is it like gambling? I do not really know what to choose between these forms of investing. Thanks for your answers! [link] [comments]
What stocks to buy ahead of Chinese middle class growth? Posted: 07 Feb 2020 12:04 AM PST So far I have bought Pinduoduo and I have been thinking about Alibaba or an airline company since the amount of Chinese tourists grow each year. So what other stocks are good for exploiting the growth? Also I don't think about Chinese brands are going to go well, since the Chinese love western brands (just a theory, since they buy all that fake stuff like iPhones and fake designer clothes) [link] [comments]
