Posted: 25 Feb 2020 05:06 AM PST Welcome to this week's Operational Roundtable Thread. Ask about anything related to legal, accounting, project management, or how to get started. Don't be shy. The purpose of this is to learn and share ideas and methodologies with one another. Any question is a good question! If you are answering questions, remember to be kind and supportive. Many are just starting out and have no idea what they are doing. That's okay! We all knew nothing before we knew something. You can also find more support using instant chat on the /r/startups discord. [link] [comments] |

What bank to use for a business when you have no money Posted: 25 Feb 2020 02:36 PM PST Hi, I just incorporated my company using Gust Launch, and because we're based in New Jersey but are registered as a Delaware C Corp, we also need to register here in NJ according to the law. Doing so requires a business bank account. We don't have any revenue yet and probably won't for a while, so is there a business account you would recommend where it's fine to have no money in it? Posted: 25 Feb 2020 07:58 PM PST Hi, I'm a Software Engineer, DevOps Tech Lead. I have around 5-6 years of professional experience in building scalable, secure, enterprise grade applications. What I lack is business side.. I'm looking to start my own company/LLC. Do I have any advantages of just starting my own company and building maybe some SPA mockups and getting it off the ground ? What if I have an Idea and I just start building the app, would I be able to start getting income In 2-3 months from my app ? Please, looking for advice. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Single feature MVP sales until product launch Posted: 25 Feb 2020 07:43 PM PST My team has put together a working prototype, and is about a month from having a bare bones MVP we could sell to early adopters or those who are suffering the most. The plan is to get a little margin on each sale, gather feedback, make revisions, and be ready for the full product launch early next year. The question is, does it make sense to sell for 3-4 months, maybe 200-300 devices, then stop MVP sales until we're ready for the full feature launch next year? We anticipate the early versions to demand some support, take additional resources to maintain. It seems foolish to leave sales on the table and build brand recognition, but at the same time, we may not have the resources to handle more than a certain amount sold. [link] [comments] |
How to take away developer's access successfully? Advice needed. Posted: 25 Feb 2020 11:24 AM PST The developer who was working on my web app has kind of ditched us when the app has been completed about 80% to 90%. We gave him a week to give benefit of doubt but as expected, he kind of just doesnt respond. Questions:
Would really appreciate if someone could help me here on a step by step basis so I don't break the app, remove any private keys and have access taken away from him successfully. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Feb 2020 03:56 PM PST I invested in a Startup about a year ago and that time the Startup claimed it would do certain things if I invested in their company. They did not. So over the last few months, I've hired a lawyer and we are in the process of settling with the Startup. As part of the deal, the Startup is willing to give me a percentage of equity in the company, plus some cash. What documents should I ask for from the Startup in order to find out what they're really worth? [link] [comments] |
Custom built website vs. Wordpress? Posted: 25 Feb 2020 02:48 PM PST Trying to decide with which route to go for my startup's website. It's essentially a consulting firm (more to it), and the first step for a new client would be to fill out a questionnaire based through the website. I would also like the option for clients to create a profile on the website that will contain their specific data and such. Would Wordpress suffice? Or would it be best to go the more expensive custom built route? I'm pretty familiar with Wordpress/html/css and I know I could do a good job with what it provides but I'm not sure if it'll provide enough. Thoughts? [link] [comments] |
Difference between poc, prototype and mvp Posted: 25 Feb 2020 07:13 AM PST could somebody ELI5 me what's the difference between these stages when developing a software product (with a bit of hardware)? I genuinely don't really have a clue and especially at which stages actual coding is involved. also, are there maybe intermediate stages I did not even hear about? [link] [comments] |

As stated by Stanford Medical, It's really the SINGLE reason this country's women get to live 10 years longer and weigh on average 19 KG lighter than we do.
ReplyDelete(By the way, it has totally NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret exercise and absolutely EVERYTHING related to "how" they eat.)
