What is the Liquid Cash of Billionaires on average

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 08:56 PM PST

Not sure if this is the best place to ask. But what is the Liquid cash of billionaires. It's easy to say we should tax the rich heavily(and I agree) but a lot of their wealth is in stock, something that's a bit harder to tax. So how much cash would people like Bill gates or Jeff Bezos have?

If this is the wrong place to ask, which is a better alternative?

VA possibly increasing minimum wage to $10 begging in July. My contracts were signed before this was happening, any advise?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 10:17 PM PST

As I said, my contracts are priced at $8 to $11/hr.

Is there any way to seek an increased contract rate from my clients if this passes through the house?

To be honest, this rate will destroy my ability to provide the quality of service I've been providing. My employees are high schoolers and college students and I'll have around 25.

The business is seasonal (swimming pools) so I haven't negotiated any wages yet, but if I have to pay everyone at least $10/hr it will mess up my positive reinforcement program.

I pay employees $8/hr, and if they make it to the end of the season (or their last possible day of work) and do a good job (don't have any write-ups) I pay them $1/extra for each hour they've worked.

Americans are avoiding Corona beer, aren't sure if it's connected to the coronavirus

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 09:57 PM PST

Almost 40 percent of American beer drinkers said they won't buy Corona beer, with about 15 percent of those saying they aren't sure if the pale imported lager has anything to do with the coronavirus, according to a new survey by PR firm 5W.

Shares in Constellation Brands, which makes Corona and other brands, fell over 5 percent amid a broader market sell-off this week. While the only thing they have in common is a similar name, that hasn't stopped the beverage brand's buzz from fizzing as the outbreak spreads.

The company is receiving backlash for a post it made on Twitter promising that new Corona hard seltzer flavors were "coming ashore soon", with critics claiming it was in poor taste or that it was "bad timing". The company has indicated they have no plans to postpone the ads though, seeking to build recognition for their new hard seltzer product line prior to the high demand summer season. Constellation Brands said in a statement "We're prepared to have one of the biggest introduction spends that we've ever had" when questioned on the marketing campaign's rollout coinciding with the Coronavirus outbreak.

Red flags to watch out for on business meetings and conferences to avoid traps

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 05:31 AM PST

Most of us have had people dming us on social media about their business and asking if we would like to make some money. Since I am an economy student I like to go to conferences of businesses that sound interesting to me and check them out. Most of the time they end up being pyramid schemes and get rich quick schemes. I am pretty new to these "business traps" so I cant say much about it but I can spot a manipulator.

The point of this post is to compile red flags for business offers and which types of businesses are "must avoid" or "not as it seems but not that bad" so that people don't fall into those traps.

These are some red flags that I noticed:

Constant checking if you will come to the conference, dming to recruit and not asking for any qualities or even what school you went to (quality business needs quality people so they wouldn't just accept anyone), talking about "you wanna make more money than the average for less work time than average?", avoiding talking about what exactly you will be doing in your workplace, agreeing with everything you say and not giving you any negatives about the business, demanding a enter fee (classic pyramid scheme)

Post your red flags and which questions do you think should we ask ourselves and them to know what is really going on.

Should I triple major in Finance, MIS, and HR?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 12:19 PM PST

I was originally double majoring in Finance & IT, but I still need more college credits in order to graduate. So, I am thinking of adding on the HR major instead of just taking random elective classes for credits. However, I don't know if this would add much value to my resume or if it would look like I am unsure of my career path. For my career path, I would like to work in finance (still not 100% sure), but HRIS is another field that seems interesting to me.

    Power washing business

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 09:43 AM PST

I am thinking of starting a power washing business but other than doing it in my own back yard a few times I don't have much experience power washing. So I have a few questions: 1) what equipment do I need and where can I find the most affordable equipment (I don't have much money so I need a cheaper option for starters) 2) other than decks, patios and driveways, what else can be power washed? 3) what types of Chemicals do I need and for what? 4) how should I go about charging? Should I base it on the size of the job or offer a flat rate? 5) do I need to get any type of insurance?

What is the best way to sell a small amount of products online

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 07:15 AM PST

Myself and my friend currently have a venture which sees us travel around the UK in a van mountain biking. We work full time PAYE but have a reasonable following online. We wanted to sell a small amount of products just starting with stickers. What is the best way to go about this to avoid issues down the line. (Tax scares me, and should we have a joint bank account purely for the online sales)

Whats the easiest and most cost effective way
