Masters degree in financial analysis vs Work?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 02:44 PM PDT

(Preemptive apology if this is the wrong sub, dont use reddit too often)

A few years ago, I decided to pursue an education studying business, and will be receiving my Bachelors degree in financial analysis next year. The question that has been killing me for my entire college career: Should I continue to get my masters degree? What opportunities would it open up for me in this specific field? Is it worth the time and resources? Factors to consider: Currently unemployed with 2 years of retail experience, B/C grade student, sick of school, no idea what to do when I am older. Should I tough through it and spend money and time to get the degree? I dont even know if it will help me in the future (or how much it will help) and I dont have anyone to guide me. Any and all advice on either the general question or my specific scenario would mean the world to me.

My teammates and I have created survey that is meant to gather data for a product we have designed. The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and it would mean a lot to us. Thanks!

    Terminal leukemia-Selling Small Business Question

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 02:27 PM PDT

My mother was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia a few days ago and her timeline is very limited.

She has had a small cleaning company for 20 years. She does commercial cleaning - has a few girls who work for her.

I've heard that a business is valued at 2x its annual profits, but I don't know if that's the same for a cleaning business.

Her profits are about $48,000 a year. It's enough to take care of all of her expenses. She really hasn't been growing it, it's been pretty stable for the last decade.

One of the girls who works for her offered her $2500 and would take over all the cleaning from this point on. My mom is going downhill very fast, and I feel like she's being taken advantage of.

But if she says no, can't the girl just solicit the business herself. I mean this woman isn't going to be around in a few weeks.

Can anybody give me any advice?

It has to change, here is why

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 05:42 PM PDT

Have you guys noticed that : eating out is very difficult and expensive.

    In an area, typically,

You find few outlets selling pizza or burger, you find a restaurant in which meals are quite expensive, and that's it.

Here you have : only few foods, and they are expensive

    You can eat almost nothing,

    Eating out is nearly impossible

    Do you guys see ?

    This model is very inefficient

    Something important is missing

It is : a restaurant where food keeps changing, chefs also rotate

This restaurant is going to serve thousands of foods over the course of time

A meal is going to be cheap

You will be able to eat thousands of foods

Eating out will finally become possible

    This model is way better
