Any suggestion would be of great help. [link] [comments] |
Questions About Trademarking A Product Name Posted: 24 Oct 2019 08:10 AM PDT I'm not certain if this is the proper place to ask questions about branding, trademarks, etc. I have a product idea that I think could do well in today's market, and I'd like to start researching it, but I won't start without at least having the name trademarked. I guess my main question is, how does one go about trademarking a name? Also, is it something I can do myself? Should I, or will I need to consult an attorney? How long does the process take? What rights does a trademark give me or my product? How much does the process cost? Like I said, I'm not sure if the is the subreddit to have questions answered about trademarks. If it's not, please flag, delete, etc. Thanks in advance. Any/all help is appreciated. [link] [comments] |

How would one go about making advanced business ideas a reality? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 11:26 AM PDT Note: All hypothetically speaking. I don't have an idea in mind. Yesterday I was listening to Joe Rogan's podcast with Elon Musk. There was a segment in there where Musk mentioned that his brain is a constant explosion of new and innovative ideas. This got me thinking about people unlike the genius inventor and engineer that is Elon Musk. Suppose an ordinary person had a brilliant idea. For the sake of the example, let's say the idea was the car back in the 1800s. What happens if you have no idea how to actually design a working car? Who would you take the idea to? Would you still get any credit? Is it any good thinking of a new, brilliant idea if you can't physically actualise that idea yourself? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 24 Oct 2019 07:57 AM PDT Funnily enough, this question actually arose when thinking about E-Sports and how it initially had A surge in the UK market recently. Without, 'however' much accompanied real estate. Today this remains still relatively the same as far as my own eye can see, There could be A 'totally' different demographic that would say otherwise. But, this is my own view. Without that footprint in the market then this now leaves A space to be occupied by independent, small and online business owners. With the right R&D then this provide opportunity for people to form A solid business with the aim to sell in the future or invest more. Fortunately, I'm very passionate about the E-Sports industry so I would definitely invest more ;) Now that brings me nicely to how you could potentially use University's to spot when these patterns will occur in the market. Now by no means am I a business Uni student so this could be a method which is already used industry wide. And, 'in-fact' I actually flunked out of college to work but my point continues... The University's are normally into this sort of stuff pretty early on in the development process and really help drive the younger generation (I.e 'Me') into developing a passion for these community's through ways of interactive learning and offering a multitude of fan clubs, extra curricular activities etc. Which makes me think, how do they grasp this knowledge so quick and implement structures of which could be the foundation of '20 years from now'? For example, across multiple University's we now have E-Sports teams competing with other Universities and it's pretty exciting because that really is going to be our future in 20 years when E-Sports develops into the mainstream. I have not been to University but an insight into how this would be done and what committed students could see from their perspective would be amazing. [link] [comments] |
