Posted: 30 Aug 2019 08:14 PM PDT A friend came to me because he had been wanting to purchase this island property. He did not have funds. I ended up buying it. I'm still working and won't retire for another 8 years so I'm not gonna be doing anything on it. My friend wants to start a scuba shop and a small resort on it. What are your ideas for a contract in order for me to maximize my profit on my investment? Thank you. [link] [comments] |

The most important thing In every business is the strategy, time management and goals! Posted: 30 Aug 2019 12:07 PM PDT Do you have any productive strategy ? For example I'm a young businessman which wants everything and now. It is the biggest mistake, cause you can't get everything now. You need a time and you need a strategy firstly. Let's be honest, the productivity is so important segment and we need to manage our time and think like a basic freelancers. It was so hard to me, because I had a goals and I was so lazy person. Bank Of Productivity This program is helping me to stay in the right position and it removed procrastinating issue in my life and I stopped overworking. You can read everything about procrastination and about laziness here And that's all for now. I hope you will be so successful business man which will be so productive in a first steps of the career) [link] [comments] |
Assistance reaching my customer base. Posted: 30 Aug 2019 10:51 AM PDT Hello everyone! I apologize if this isn't the correct place to ask this question, but I'm reaching out in hopes of finding some advice. I'm currently looking for ways to assist my coworkers with connecting with our Spanish speaking customers. So far, we've started working on potential classes and having Spanish brochures. However, I was hoping to hear out what works for others who don't speak Spanish. What tools are available to help connect with our customers? Does anyone know of any programs, software, or anything really, that's helps them in a business setting reach their Spanish speaking customer base? While we have a lot of diversity in our business, not everyone speaks Spanish, and there are a lot of missed opportunities. Does anyone have any advice or can anyone point me to the right subreddit if this isn't the best one to post? Thank you! [link] [comments] |

Should I dropout of college to start an e-commerce business? Please help. Posted: 30 Aug 2019 05:20 AM PDT Hi everyone! I hope you are well. :) I would like to provide some current background and the things I'm facing: https://www.reddit.com/r/college/comments/ck4izr/i_can_neither_transfer_to_another_college_nor/ (please click the link to read, thank you :( ) But simply just to briefly let you know that I'm financially unstable and at the moment I'm enrolled in an unaccredited school (I wasn't aware of it before but I got to know later on) and per semester you can take 20 credits, so basically you can take 4 courses and each course is worth 5 credits. Now each course costs $2000. So, 4 courses x $2000 = $8000 per semester. And to graduate you need to have 180 credits and so far I have like around 45 credits. I'm in an insane situation right now. I gave it a lot of thought and I'm deciding that it will be good if I dropout and start an e-commerce business. I have been researching a lot and learning recently, seems like a lot of people are involved in an e-commerce business specially on Shopify with drop shipping. I don't know if it will be worth it or not. I have saved some good amount of money so I could probably use it to start off. At the moment, I have various ideas for business and startups. But I'm not sure if I'll be able to achieve it because time is very essential for me as well as money. That's why I need some guidance as in how to start and specially marketing part. Besides my education and being financially unstable (I actually can't get government help and my school doesn't provide any scholarship or financial support that's why I feel alone and at the moment going through depression because I see no future for me) my parents are getting physically weak and having health issues and I hate to see it. So I want to help. I don't want them to feel that I can't do anything and they always have to provide for me, I want to be financially independent. Please let me know if you could provide me any advice, guidance or tips. Anything will be valuable to me. Thank you so much! :( [link] [comments] |
NEED HELP - Small business start-up?? Posted: 30 Aug 2019 11:16 AM PDT I'm wanting to start an event planning/management business. I've always enjoyed the challenge of bringing someone's vision/dream into reality and want to try and turn it into a business. So far, these are the things I've planned:
I've managed different group sizes, anywhere from 2 to 100 people. I'm currently a supervisor/trainer at my job so I'm not shy telling people what to do/delegate duties. However, I have a difficult time trying to get to know someone/feel comfortable around them at the get go (unless I'm training them). I am also trying to do videography on the side and I think those together will go greatly hand-in-hand. I'm thinking of possibly offering the event planning services and offer an additional videography services if my clients would like. I do have quite a bit of connections here and there and do have people who are already interested in getting my event planning services.. I'm just not sure how to go about it in a more business like manner. I just finished an intimate music event last month and the turn out was absolutely AMAZING. But that was because I was working side-by-side with the artist and HIS team. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? I REALLY want to start this and have this as a side gig (for now) and then work my way up to possibly quitting my full-time 9-5 job. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] |
What alternatives to MBA do I have? Posted: 30 Aug 2019 09:53 AM PDT I am currently in my last year of BBA (from India) and was wondering what should I do after I am done with this. I don't want to start a job as of now as they are not well paying here, a friend of mine adviced me to pursue some Masters degree before getting a job. I really don't wanna stay in India and would like to settle abroad (Europe, US, CAN,UK), MBA is not an option for me right now as I don't have any work experience. I was thinking about applying for MIM, do any of you guys have any thoughts about this ? Or any other alternatives? [link] [comments] |
