My mom, sister, and I have been thinking about creating a business... How should we start? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 05:35 PM PDT My mom makes amazing food and pastries. They're so good in fact, that she, my sister, and I think that we can start a company or business selling her shortbread cookies, natural preserves, and things like that. I swear, if you were to try one of my mom's shortbread cookies, you will absolutely love it. They melt in your mouth. The problem is, we have no idea where to start. We don't have a lot of extra money to kickstart this. I'm going to try to reply to every comment so please share any questions/comments you have. [link] [comments] |

Is there a directory where I can find registered Head Shops in the US? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 10:12 PM PDT We created a new product and business and are expanding at a fairly decent rate for our area and we are looking for good hubs and locations for Head Shops in other states as well to promote our product. I was just wondering if there was some kind of directory with some kind of rough estimate of the registered businesses? I'm kinda looking for an estimated total headshops specifically in the US. Is true artificial intelligence worth a trillion-dollar opening valuation? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 05:40 PM PDT After reading plenty of old science fiction stories about various scenarios that follow the advent of true A.I., I've wondered what would be the realistic valuation of a startup that demonstrated beyond doubt that it had the secret to full-bore, all-out A.I. of the kind found in Stars Wars and a myriad of Isaac Asimov stories. Is a trillion bucks beyond reason? [link] [comments] |
Eco-Friendly Business Questions for Research Posted: 06 Jul 2019 09:04 PM PDT Hi guys I am running a research project that focuses on advertising of eco-friendly products. Could you please answer these questions if you have an eco-friendly business or sell eco-friendly products or even if you just want to answer them. Thanks so much!

Posted: 06 Jul 2019 06:02 PM PDT You know, like not playing dishonest games with endlessly making the metal casing just a little bit thinner every quarter or relentlessly slipping down the steel grade for critical parts just a bit each year and hoping the contracting company is too busy with marketing and other affairs to notice or care? Along those lines, how does India or another country compare in ease of securing a reliable supply line for manufactured goods that require intelligence and care in maintaining quality standards? I know India has deep problems with bureaucratic paralysis and poor transportation to and from seaports as well as corrupt educational standards. Is it simpler in the end to just put extra effort into developing American manufacturing contacts that rely on relatively low regional labor costs (the South in general) and low historical energy costs to diminish the cost differential between American manufacturing costs and overseas imports? Posted: 06 Jul 2019 08:16 AM PDT Hi everyone. I have essentially been working on my own original board game for the past few months, and I'm glad to say that it's nearing its completion. That being said, I am a complete layman when it comes to business, and as such don't know much, if not anything at all, about how to go about getting it sold/distributed etc. I would be very grateful for any advice as to how best to proceed with this, or for any resources I can use/read to best help me get started. I live in the UK. [link] [comments] |
