    Questions about forming an LLC

    Posted: 08 Jun 2019 06:56 PM PDT

Hey guys! So I'm building a consulting business and I don't have the best budget right now. I'm trying to form my LLC and after a quick search on google, there are websites that claim to offer a $50 llc. What are your thoughts? Is there such thing as a "cheap" llc?

How do people come up with businesses?

    Posted: 08 Jun 2019 06:59 PM PDT

how often does a prospective entrepreneur consciously sit down and try and come up with a idea , or are they all just influenced by things that are happening around them i.e. like mark zuckerberg creating facebook? i would love to start my own business when im older but lacking some sort of inspiration.

    MBA worth it?

    Posted: 08 Jun 2019 05:52 PM PDT

Hey there late 20s working in advertising with a passion for startups and cannabis industry.

I want out of advertising to either start my own company / help bring to life a vision in which I believe in or go to Canada and get in the industry.

Canada seems very hard to get a visa and I'm too much of a generalist (account manager) to get a sponsorship from a company.

Thinking of doing an MBA and then potentially look for a job helping startups or incubators etc..

MBAs are expensive so I might consider a loan, which is like the n1 thing Peter Thiel would recommend NOT to do so... what do you think?

Should I just grow some balls and start my business (like Cuban would say) or does it make sense to do an MBA to gain skills and network?

    Need help

    Posted: 08 Jun 2019 01:45 PM PDT

So a friend of mine wants to invest in my business. I am a owner operator, he wants to invest approximately $6,000 for 25% of my company and wants a 40% return. The $6,000 will be used for a new lease truck, that we worked out the numbers for after expenses and paying the driver roughly $1,000 a week profit. He wants 40% of the profit weekly. But wants 100% for 6 weeks to get back his invested money. Is this good for me or should I keep working and build the capital myself. Which with the truck I own is a bit hard. The lease truck would be a brand new truck 0 miles with warranty. Only expenses would be taxes, maintenance, breaks etc... We except the lease truck to last about 2 years before any major break downs which than the "lease warranty would cover any major break downs" I am so stuck I don't want to give him a percentage of my company. I do want to expand and acquiring this lease will help me achieve my goal 3x faster.

We started with combs... Then went into beard care. Now we're moving into drop shipping skin and beard care under a third brand. Anybody run multiple brands with an overlap in product type? What are your experiences?

Question about setting up and organizing email

    Posted: 08 Jun 2019 11:58 AM PDT

Is there an email service where you have like only one mail box, but you can have folders like "social","gear", "software", "contact" and then when you subscribe to socials you use like ["TheSilforceSocial@gmail.com](mailto:"TheSilforceSocial@gmail.com)", then for gear you use ["TheSilforceGear@gmail.com](mailto:"TheSilforceGear@gmail.com)", but it all goes in the same main ["TheSilforce@gmail.com](mailto:"TheSilforce@gmail.com)" mail box in the right folder?

And, another question, is it true that gmail gives away your personal data so, is it safe to use it for a business?
