How profitable is it to buy a existing business with a loan? Posted: 05 Oct 2018 08:06 PM PDT There are ways you can finance the purchase of an existing business, but is this even a good way to generate income? What do you do with that business once you've acquired it anyway, besides manage it? How would you scale out from there? Would you focus on internal growth or would you keep trying to get more financing to buy more businesses? Which strategy makes the most sense? How does buying existing businesses compare to other ways of making income? Is it just some poor mans path to making money? [link] [comments] |

When trying to take your Business Online...Watchout for these Posted: 05 Oct 2018 04:15 PM PDT The major problem many businesses face is when trying to get online is by creating a website for their small business, they are often hit with prices that will eat of their budget. Why would several web designers or firm charge too much when dealing with clients? Having a website will promote a business though, but I believe a website is not enough to promote a business online. You need more than just a website when trying to take your business to the next level. You can't just design a website and slap it up with content, sit back and expect sales or conversion pilling up, pulling the money into your bank account, PayPal or any payment merchant of method you prefer. That doesn't work. You need to promote it to the relevant audience who needs your products or services. From stage one of trying to take you business online to the point of making profit, there are many processes embedded in them. So, why would you put the highest percentage of your budget into it? Truth is, there are thousands of websites of different format, layout and beauty coming up every single day and most of which are small businesses. Hundreds of them might be in your niche. You will need to stand out among them, take your website to the target audience, and hope sales come in. To make this happen, it takes more than just the design of your website. The competition is always tougher for beginners and starter to make profit online. You need more than just a website to make passive income online. Don't spend too much trying to have a website. I always tell newbies wanting to make the right profit without eating up their budget to point zero. Below are what I believe will bring passive income for your business online (this will work for at least beginners). · Have a website with beautiful layout. (don't spend all your budget here) · Integrate your website with social media account for business. · Networking event should be attended · Join relevant Facebook group where your target markets are. · Signup on Twitter and be active with regular posting of relevant tweets. · Pinterest is great for B2B and B2C services. · Optimize website for SEO and Speed · Spend a good part of your budget on Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Facebook Ads · Make use of Reddit and remain relevant in your subreddit topics My best advice is that you should hire a social media expert or influencer to help you with the social media aspect, they can help you to promote your business and social media account faster than the way you can ever think, even better than you can. You alone can't manage to keep up with social media and remain perfect with your business. Social media takes time but it worth it. Rather than burning out your time, hire someone to take care of that, except you're an expert in these field before now. A friend of mine was trying to start a website to promote his business, which he did. I asked which firm helped him out, then he pointed me to www.cr8tivehub.com This firm even have the gut to show off their price tag for each business categories (most business will only mail you their quote). When checked out, I realise they are really affordable. You may decide to take a look at them and probably hire them if you want to. Their prices include Webhost (InMotion or HostGator) + Domain Name (Godaddy or Namecheap) + WordPress install and Setup + WordPress Themes and Design (elegantthemes, StudiPress, CSSIgniter, Themify, WPZoon etc) + Google Search Console + Google Analytics + Bing Webmaster + SEO Optimization + Site Backup (to Google Drive of Drop Box) + Landing Page + Many More. And you can go check out there sales page: http://www.cr8tivehub.com/wordpress-web-development/ There support and Client/Customer Service is top notch. What I found out on the website that intrigue me is this: We are not cheap…we are only affordable to small business and individuals" My friend shared his experience with me and I believe him. But they have a downside, they only offer WordPress Web design. If you want something outside WordPress, please don't go to them, look else where with caution on your budget. Have you tried them out, let others know through your comment. [link] [comments] |

I'm writing my first business survey, and need some help Posted: 05 Oct 2018 08:28 AM PDT I've recently joined a masters in Business Economics, and we've been assigned a project. A questionnaire about innovation in the dairy industry. Never having done business before, I need some help brainstorming, and i'm opening it to the floor. I'd like to frame my questions to be fairly open-ended (how and why Qs rather than yes-no ones) without getting too personal (i.e., HOW MUCH MONEY HAVE YOU SPENT ON YOUR MILKING MACHINES, HOW MUCH NET PROFIT DID YOU MAKE LAST YEAR), and specific to dairy farmers. If you have any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them. TL;DR, I need questions to ask farmers about how they innovate their cash cow milk farms. [link] [comments] |
